I noticed that this trope does not have a picture; and considering how easy it would be to picture this one, I made two suggestions based off Okami and its sequel Okamiden.

I like the first one better myself, but you could argue that the one with the two box arts shows the trope more clearly.

I love that first one, though the second's also good.

That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.

The second one makes it clearer (with the logos) how the works are related to each other.

The first is Offspring. The second is Spin-Offspring. Though technically it can also be mistaken for a Spinoff Baby...

[up]I thought the same too at first, but then again, if you see this picture on a trope called Spin-Offspring, it would be kind of a stretch to asume this is an example of Spinoff Babies. If anything, the similarity helps to make clear that that little pup is her offspring.

That's why I said technically. It's still good as an image.

Second is better at showing the trope.

Both are good, but I prefer the second.

Hmm... Cute puppies, or the circle with legs? Decisions decisions...

I choose the cute puppies.

Well, this one's lagging, and since we've got a consensus for the 2nd Okamiden pic over the first, it's up, potholed, and tagged; caption at will. Locking up.
