Injustice: DC fighting games

That would make sense, but they don't exactly mention that. They don't exactly say what happened to his villains.

One I wish would show up is Manchester Black, who wanted the Original Superman to be like Regime Superman.

It'd be weird to have a British punk support a fascist dictator.

Some of Supermans gallery if I recall just said, "Yeah, Earth's boned. Peace, out" and left.

They already did "telekinesis" with... no, wait, they haven't.

Maybe they're saving Black for Injustice 3: The Search for more Lootboxes.

Raven had some telekinesis alongside her other magical moves.

I'd love to see John Constantine in the game but it is almost impossible to imagine any situation where he punches something instead of getting someone else to punch for him.

Hence the reason a lot of people were thinking Etrigan would be one of the new DLC fighters.

John Constantine could be the kind of character who summons others as assists, like Leonardo here or Captain Ginyu in Fighterz.

Honestly just having more Superman reps would just cool for me in general. I would want Zod, but that's not going to happen any time soon.

I liked Power Girl's skin for Supergirl and you could easily do that for Zod and other characters.

However, I resented Power Girl didn't have her own ending.

Uh, again, why not? Bizarro was killed. John Stewart was killed. The Joker was killed. This is the multiverse.

Cuz all those examples you listed (except Joker) don't affected the story. I never liked the idea of multiverse being the answer since that means they can always look for multiverse for whenever there's a problem. It destroy my suspension of disbelief, but I did make a pass Ollie mostly because Taylor did that set up beforehand.

While I'm at it, I still don't like how Joker got in purely on his publicity. Somehow Lex Luthor & Sinestro can't come back but Joker can, despite his death being the catalyst on why everything has been so crapstatic.

At least with Ollie it's established that he's from an alternate universe. Joker literally just shows up for one hallucination and that's it.

Eh, I wouldn't mind a Joker resurrection because having Superman confront the Joker being ectastic about what he'd done would be a great scene.

I don't think he is dead.

He, along with Deathstroke, Raven, Hawkgirl, Killer Frost, Doomsday, Zatanna, and Lobo just got dropped for no reason. I think the comics explained Zod, Martian Manhunter is in hiding, and Luthor and Shazam died in the first game. (not that dying stopped them from bringing Joker back...)

Nobody stays dead in comic books unless people REALLY don't like them. Especially with multiverses and all. Ask Thawne.

Everyone in this thread seems to be labouring under the assumption that the story dictates what characters are in the game.

It does not.

The characters that are in the game are in regardless of the story. Because the main part of the game is not the story mode. It is the multiplayer and single-player arcade modes.

Sure, Joker's presence in the story is just a hallucination. But he wasn't put in the game so they could have a hallucination scene. He's in the game because there's no way you can leave the Joker out of a game featuring DC's all-stars, and he has that scene because they had to get everyone on the main roster into the story mode somehow.

Sadly, J'onn has been killed in Injustice 1: Years 1. His ending try to explain that he's been disguising as the librarian but I seriously doubt J'onn would let so many destruction by hiding himself.

& I would argue that Lex Luthor should be in as well if we're going that logic. Sure he nowhere as popular as Joker, but being Superman most recognizable seems to be reasonable to be included in all-star DC cast.

As for the story I would be ok if this was fighting game norm, but they're trying to take themselves seriously in this department. So I wouldn't really ok with how cheap the deaths were. Unless this was all leading to The Blackest Night for the Injusticverse
