Injustice: DC fighting games

Interestingly, Diana has her common Themiscrya outfit in the mobile game (seen around 0:49). Hopefully, that gear is available in the main game (with The Arkham Knight Batman and Bv S Superman) or we'll see some more content segregation like the last game.

Oh boy, that'll be great news for the three people that can stomach Injustice Wonder Woman enough to actually use her.

Evil Wonder Woman is too popular of a writing choice.

What does that mean?

Who lets story determine who they play in a fighting game. Unlike the first one, Wonder Woman actually plays really awesome this time around.

Wondy tends to be played as a psychopath. Remember that NBC pilot?

Yeah, I level grinded Wondy to get that gear (mission accomplished, btw), and she looks fun to play.

Wondy works well in this game. She just say dumb things in the intros and clashes.

Ah right. Damn people have a problem with Diana. A lot of people say that Diana in this game is hands down the worst person ever.

Also I finally finished all the character arcade routes. That was a shit ton of work but well with it to see everyone's endings, now all that's left is to wait for the upcoming DLC. I as well opened 9 Diamond boxes at once so I got a ton of epic loot which sadly is too over-leveled for most of my characters.

Though damn that new Wondy event is over a 183 hours long, well over a week. I have all the time in the world to finish that shit.

I think Linkara's Amazons Attack prolouge kinda sums up the issue people have with WW

basically it explains why She's so psychotically one note in Injustice... Well other then the fact she's not written as Sups or Bats Equal but lets not get into that

or you could argue Its Batman the mere human overcoming the two "gods" of the Trinity of DC superheroes 'Which isn't actually true but Basically The odds are stacked against Batman

Doing the other missions in the event will level up a Level 1 WW to around Level 8.

Re:The Wonders You Can Do

Wonder Woman's actually pretty fun in this game, but she's also a character where you know from the get-go that she's going to feel like ass some of the time. Maybe it's because I don't have good gear yet, but her damage output is laughable if she isn't lucky with trait. Also, everything that isn't D3 (a sweep) or F2 (a really awkwardly-ranged move that comes out on frame 22) can be blocked high.

The flipside is Shield Toss combos are fun to pull off, and MB Amalthea Bash is just delicious to land.

That's why I put a Joking Mode tag.

I've heard the opposite in that many view Diana's gameplay as a downgrade from the last game

About Diana's personality (I can't say much about gameplay since I don't have a game yet. Planning to get the Ultimate Edition), WW movie for us folk to go see GOOD Wonder Woman. Diana that everyone loves (with a kickass theme)

We had a debate about this delayed reaction to "evil, unlikable" Wonder Woman everyone seems to have had already.

I mean, it's because Wonder Woman and Superman are always Big Good that makes seeing their evil Alternate Character Interpretation interesting. It's not like Injustice 2 somehow tarnished Diana and we need the movie - Diana's character has existed for decades, you have a lot more than the new movie to look towards if you want to see Wonder Woman as a good guy gal. You have three examples of Wonder Woman as an antagonist or in any sort of antagonistic position - Flashpoint, that one film where she liberated a village of women and let them slaughter their male captors, and the Justice Lord storyline from the DCAU.

Even beyond all of that, this version of Wonder Woman is just crappily written. I can deal with an evil version of her if she's done well. This one is not. She's a prop for Superman,like she generally is in Elseworld stories.

Then at least in a position of ethical conflict/scrutiny. The movie didn't portray Diana or Clark as being fully in the right. One of very few times I know of where Diana's not in the right.

What I gather is that Injustice Diana shouldn't even be on Superman's side and that it's an utter betrayal of her character that she is. When everything about her origin, design, and at least two versions of her character tell me that, yes, she probably would be. Maybe she could have been better written but there seems to be precious little tolerance for "evil Diana" in general.

Meanwhile, everyone wants to see evil Batman. Because there isn't enough He Who Fights Monsters in Batman stories as it is.
