Injustice: DC fighting games

Okay, let me put it this way. There is no way that even with digital copies the comic is selling even close to the amount a game does.

Hm. I'm really hoping they start the next wave of the beta soon. I want to be able to at least try the game out before I preorder it, and I never got a code for the first wave.

Edit: apparently they sent out the second wave yesterday, and I still never got one. Hooray.

Me either. Which sucks, because I actually have time to play it right now that I won't have for very long.

The beta will last for at least a month so they'll probably do more waves.

Well, I just dropped $100 on the ultimate edition. May as well just pay for all the DLC now, rather than later.

I'm going to the store tomorrow to change my preorder to the Ultimate Edition as well.

Although god only knows what it'll cost up here.

The site's updated saying there's going to be a new character this Thursday.

Still no sign of Damian's character page, though.

Huh. First time I've seen that.

Based on those bios, I guess Grodd is leading the new faction, and Atrocitus is taking over Ares' role in the story.

Interesting timing, what with there now being a new version of Black Canary on Arrow (and she's named Dinah Drake too, and will probably be wearing a blonde wig at some point).

She looks fun. I like the focus on her martial arts abilities, and how the sonic powers are more used to back them up than as her primary weapon.

Reminds me of Sonya and Cassie. Which means she'll be top tier

Black Canary's really interesting, especially given how much of an upset Ollie being dead was in the first game and especially in the tie-in comics (if they're following that one-to-one). Lot of good vengeance plotlines to be had there. Plus it makes her being part of Batman's group make perfect sense.

Another underwhelming super, but what can you do right?

Whaaaaaaaat... so then they brought her back from the alternate universe the tie-in comics put her in?

This one's actually pretty boss if you ask me. I mean compared to Damian's - Canary stuns you, kicks you 20 feet into the air, leaps that same height, and hammers you back down before gut-punching you.

I'm curious what the golden flame around her fist is about though.

What's with the yellow aura when she punches?

Right now I'm just thinking it's a cool effect, since she can't do that in the comics. But she also doesn't have sonic genades in the comics, so they may be giving her extra abilities/tech.

She got added to the site. She's apparently back from the other world she ended up in with her son(and that world's GA thanks to Fate). Guess Fate brought her back when Superman was captured.

Third wave of the beta soon (possibly already), with Blue Beetle now playable.

So, which of us has a chance of talking on Supergirl in a fight? :P

Gotta say, she's a ton of fun to watch in action.

And man, I can't wait for the legion of Deadshots I'm gonna face online.

Edit: According to the official website, there's another new character reveal tomorrow.

Yep. Personally, I'm hoping for Batwoman, Batgirl, Captain Atom or Big Barda.

Guessing it's Captain Cold at last.
