Yeah, this manga is something else.
Judging books by their front cover in this particular universe is apparently a first class ticket to dying horribly. Very horribly. Like the first story arc with the noble family providing the protagonist with shelter. Makes the whole psychotic breakdown part of such stories really creepy.
The rich family in the first arc really establishes how screwed up the world of Akame ga kiru really is.
So are you guys ready to trope up this #$@%#?
Just being cute girl is ticket to die horribly in this universe...

So, who's going to start the page?
Anyay new chapter is out (translators doing quite good job)
Edesse is Officialy in love with Tatsumi, ok that was expected, but it was hilarious anyway especialy expressions of Nee-san and string guy.
Akame Ga Kiru, Akame Kills, Akame Ga Kill, what should the trope page be named?
Creed of the Happy Pessimist:Always expect the worst. Then, when it happens, it was only what you expected. All else is a happy surprise. This manga is certainly troperiffic lol
Akame ga Kiru is alright, most of manga pages refer about it like that anyway.
Page is started, very simply. Add tropes as you like.
Creed of the Happy Pessimist:Always expect the worst. Then, when it happens, it was only what you expected. All else is a happy surprise.ch 28 out. build up chapter for next war
Yup and that dogy girl is even more screwed than I thought...
So we know the big battle plan. Seems pretty solid.
Wave is being set up for heel face turn... which of course means he'll die horribly.
More than Edese or PM the one I want to see dead the most is Seryuu. I hate people who wipe their dirty hands with justice.
Also I wonder how much everyone plans will be ruined by PM son doing something.
Haruhi, death flags all around in this chapter. The biggest ones are on Chelsea (liking Tatsumi), Seryuu (getting crazier by the chapter), and Wave (the good guy on an evil team staring to question the status quo). While I wouldn't be bothered by Seryuu being put down, Chelsea started to grow on me, and I'd hate to see her go get offed so quickly.
If it keeps going like that chances are that by the end of the series the only one to survive will be Akame.
And even that might not be true. XD
I'm excited for the showdown with the miniboss squad.
Maybe Wave will kill Tatsumi get Heel–Face Turn and than takeover his position in band

Nah, Tatsumi still has to fight Esdese at some point. There is a good chance of Wave joining Night Raid, though.
Haruhi, that's got to be the most outright depressing and dark omake chapter EVER. What is it with this author and murdering girls anyway?
That was obvious chapter, once as I saw three girls in good mood...
Well, it's not like this is Cheerful Mac Laughriot in the first place, Black Comedy aside. I did love the, "Listen to my Freudian Excuse- Gaaah!" sequence, though.
Creed of the Happy Pessimist:Always expect the worst. Then, when it happens, it was only what you expected. All else is a happy surprise.Raws are up, so it shouldn't be too long now...
Aaaand yet again the seemingly Rock, Paper, Scissors setup to the tools come into play, where in this case Night Raid just DOESN'T have the right counter to Kurome. As it is, she's making the team sent out to face her, Tatsumi included, seem like little kids.
Has anyone ever wondered why there hasn't been a page for this manga called Akame ga Kiru? I believe it's relatively new and it's made by the artist that created Kaze No Stigma - Kouen no Miko (if any of you have read that manga). The manga mostly revolves around the main character Tatsumi, his quest to obtain money to save his village, and his interactions with the assassination group Night Raid. It's a brutal shounen manga, one that emphasizes lots of black comedy and gory battles. The supernatural weapons (Teigu) they use are pretty cool too, ranging from odd to ridiculously overpowered.
