Any of the single pics would be fine with me.
Ditto "single pics", but excluding the last one ("Dawn of..."), it is just text. The board and the hand don't "go together", so to speak. I like "YOU HAVE 7 DAYS" because the units are different than the trope name. Also the hand is sort of weird.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I like the hand exactly because it's sort of weird — the eeriness in having a timer, possibly for your death, etched into your skin makes it a very good image in my opinion.
After the hand, I like the 7 days one, and far behind are the Dawn Of (not visually interesting — just plain text) and 7 days/hand (no link between the images) ones. The 7 days one is just repeating the trope name with different numbers, though.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.I like either of the TWEWY ones. Not both.

The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.Should we go ahead and do a crowner, or get a couple more options?
I'd do the crower; nothing new came up in the last thread.

That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.Yeah, I have no other options, and it seems like the stuff we have is fairly well-liked for the most part, so I think a crowner of just this stuff would work.
I would like to point out that the "YOU HAVE 7 DAYS" is a bit different from the usual use of the trope. It's more like "you have to survive the Game for 7 days" rather than "you have 7 days to complete this task."
Don't think that changes much, but...

I have a message from another time...Aren't there still tasks to be done within that time, though?
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.Yeah, the timers for those are printed on your palm.
I have a message from another time...From Sonic Adventure 2...

Crowner's hooked.
The hand "timer" looks like somebody tattooed the number of a bible verse on their hand...
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight! However, the numbers being very close to 60 makes you associate them with minutes and seconds.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going. No, they really don't.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight! If it was a tattoo, it would be distorted due to the hand not being entirely flat. It's clearly a magical image of some sorts.
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.I'll be the first to admit that the Timer doesn't immediately sell itself as a timer without context. In terms of zero context, I think the billboard works better.
It's funny. The Timer is better with context, and the billboard is less perfect with context.
I have a message from another time...Gotta admit, I'd've never associated the hand timer with a Bible verse.
Pre-weekend bump for votes, the leader's the only one in the green right now.
I'd say this is ready to call, wouldn't you?

I have a message from another time...I agree.
"The Daily Show has to be right 100% of the time; FOX News only has to be right once." - Jon StewartThe crowner's gonna be up tomorrow, and since we've got a clear leader, I've gone ahead and called it. Caption or no?

The only thing that springs to mind is a certain line from Zero Wing... Which probably would be somewhat tacky.
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything."You have no chance to survive make your time"?
Moon◊Yeah.

Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
Okay, the last thread with this died, but it needs to be addressed again. Here's the deal.
The image here does not illustrate the trope at all. It's a clock with "48 hours" printed on it. Nothing more. Simply put, any other sort of image, or even none at all, would be better. Preferably, a timer, or clock, or even just a message, explicitly telling the person that their time is very limited. Here is what the last thread had. I am partial to the second one, and I think that the last one is probably just better as a quote, but I think they all have their merits.
