Tomba!/Tombi! 1 & 2

Due out on PSN this summer in the US at least (hopefully EU won't be too far behind). I have some incredibly fond memories of the second one, hope they get around to releasing that as well.

I found the disk for Tomba! under my bed.... It's broken :/

Oh hey, this thing.

I had the first one, but I specifically remember never being able to beat it.

I managed to beat both 1 and 2 a long time ago, fully cleared (with the 104% on 2 for the Old Save Bonus).

Question: is this for both versions of PSN?

I believe it's one of those "Sequel contingent on sales-performance of the first"-situations. Joy.

I remember playing the games when I was a kid at a buddy's place. I remember it being a lot of fun, but the thing that made me facepalm as a little kid was that you needed to randomly break a guy's treasured vase to proceed with the story. I wonder if they where parodying forced actiond like that

Also the ad campaign in those archaic gaming magazines was brilliant. "Just because you got the hair.."

Release date: June 19 for $10

Seeing as I only managed to secure a copy of the second game, I think I'll give this a spin. Had a blast playing the demo that came on a disc with my PS1.
