I'm a Grammar Nazi; I use compartment because, you know, rooms and compartments are not the same thing and I'm not lazy enough to sacrifice accuracy.
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundAlso, i'd like to point out that absolutely every part of my wand, from the wood used to the bendibility, says something about Edward's character, and has been carefully. Researched. I mean, the wand took up about half of the time I put into the character sheet...
I'm going to have to put some research into my wand too. Where did you look when you did your research?

Derp, need to do that too.
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundI just took my Pottermore wand and swapped the wood around for the one that corresponds to my birthday on the same Celtic calendar that got used for this in some canon cases.
"Yup. That tasted purple."I mainly used the Harry Potter wikia.
I've certainly been poking around there; that's how I hit upon the calendar fact.
"Yup. That tasted purple."Question: Is Flitwick still the charms professor, and, if not, who is?
I'll decide on whether or not Flitwick is still a professor later. Right now, I've got school, so I won't be posting again for several hours.
Bye!
"Yup. That tasted purple."Hm, I think it's a 12'' hornbeam wand, mildly supple, for Vivian.
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundForgot to note that mine is Solid.
"Yup. That tasted purple."Alister's is 9", hazel, unicorn hair core, and flexible.
they/them || "Forgive me, regent of queer amphibians" - Lt.BGobAnyway, I need sleep now. Night all.
"Yup. That tasted purple."Derp, forgot a core. It's a unicorn tail hair.

I've made a list of all the teachers at Hogwarts; I'll add to the list when necessary. There will be some made-up Professors on the list as well when the subject requires it.
I've made Professor McGonagall the Headmistress of Hogwarts (the most obvious choice), and the Transfiguration post has been given to a new teacher.
Heads of House include the following:
- Gryffindor: Neville Longbottom
- Hufflepuff: Azazel Adamans
- Ravenclaw: Filius Flitwick
- Slytherin: Horace Slughorn
Here's a list of Professors, sorted by their subject in alphabetical order:
Core Classes:
- Astronomy: Aurora Sinistra
- Defence Against The Dark Arts: Opal Nightshade (Made up teacher; an Evil Counterpart and adult version of Hayley Ivyleaf. Position is no longer jinxed due to Voldemort's death, so she's been working there for fifteen years.)
- Flying: Madam Hooch (Harry Potter will make a guest appearence in one of the Flying lessons).
- Herbology: Neville Longbottom.
- History of Magic: Cuthbert Binns.
- Potions: Horace Slughorn (He decided to stay at Hogwarts, but occasionally leaves to go and make some money on the side. Expect relievers to appear for that class.)
- Spells and Charms: Filius Flitwick.
- Transfiguration: Azazel Adamans (Made up teacher. Comes across as sctatter-brained, but is a young prodigy at Transfigurations. He was a student in Hogwarts when Harry and friends were there.)
Electives:
- Arithmancy:
- Care of Magical Creatures: Rubeus Hagrid (He's kept his position as groundskeeper, and still lives in Hogwarts. His hut has been rebuilt.)
- Divination: Sybil Trelawney.
- Muggle Studies:
- Study of Ancient Runes:
Extra-Curricular Activities:
- Alchemy: Horus Slughorn.
- Ancient Studies
- Art
- Earth Magic: Neville Longbottom.
- Frog Choir: Filius Flitwick.
- Ghoul Studies: Opal Nightshade.
- Hogwarts orchestra: Filius Flitwick.
- Magical Theory: Azazel Adamans.
- Muggle Art: Muggle Studies Professor.
- Muggle Music: Also the Muggle Studies Professor.
- Music: Filius Flitwick.
- Xylomancy: Sybil Trelawney.
Mr. Filch will continue to be the school's caretaker. And Madam Pomfrey will continue to be the school's nurse.
Sexual education and health classes will be covered by the heads of house, and will happen twice; once before Christmas, and once afterwards. They will take up an entire day, and will be taught by house rather than by year.
I will link to this post on Post #1, to make it easier for us to know who's who.

Thanks! I edited them in, putting in Professor Slughorn for the Potions Master, and Filius for the Charms Teacher.
You're welcome. :)
And the only thing I'm going to change about Hayley's wand is the length; it's going to be 12 inches, not 8.
Ok. Btw, I'll give a badge to anyone who can figure out why I made Edward's wand from Acacia, a badge, and a hug, to anyone who can figure out why I made his wand's core a phoenix feather, and a badge, and a kiss, to anyone who can figure out why I made his wand short, unusually short, at that.
Phoenix feather wand cores are very picky when it comes to choosing their owner, as the phoenix is an independent, aloof creature. A wand with a phoenix feather core is one of the hardest wands to gain the respect of. These traits reflect in Edward's character. That, and the fact that phoenix feather wands often have exceptional power to them and great deal of intuition.
December 23rd is a day that has been left out of the Druid calender, due to the calender being lunar in nature; 28 days and 13 months (364 days). Here is a rundown of the months and wood types:
- Birch December 24 to January 20
- Rowan January 21 to February 17
- Ash February 18 to March 17
- Alder March 18 to April 14
- Willow April 15 to May 12
- Hawthorn May 13 to June 9
- Oak June 10 to July 7
- Holly July 8 to August 4
- Hazel August 5 to September 1
- Vine September 2 to September 29
- Ivy September 30 to October 27
- Reed October 28 to November 24
- Elder November 25 to December 22
Acacia isn't on there, so it might be December 23rd. Edward is born on the 23rd December?

Very good! *Hugs.* Any badge, in particular, that you want?
No, not at all. Edward was born some time in January.

(Hugs). The Tardis?
So the Acacia wood wasn't chosen due to date of birth, hmmm... Worth a shot anyway.
