I knew that restoration would come in handy for something.
For those unaware, there's a guy who got his hands on a particularly complete and good quality film reel of Manos, and he's been working on restoring it and making a 2K transfer of the film, followed by a Blu-ray release of the restoration for film fans who want this piece of film history. While working on the restoration, Mike Nelson got in contact with him to discuss something, and I suppose this is what came of it.
More info on the restoration can be found at the website for it, and we used to have a thread for it in this subforum...

Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle. You beat me to the reply because I went to find the thread on that issue and the guy's page about the 16mm discovery and the kickstarter page.
And you ninja'd my edit!
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.I would rather stick with the MST 3 K version.
The MST3K couldn't save my brain from degeneration. I think it might have been due to it being in the Joel era, though.
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987Why would you need to stick to anything.
Can I have... BOTH? I'd buy THAT for a dollar!
