It pretty clearly states that they are upgraded mooks usually with palette swaps, new armour bits, etc. Read the whole thing it tells you what makes an elite mook. Granted I find this Trope Co stuff to be more of a needless distraction. They could make a just for fun page and we could make this one more straight forward.

Actually there is a Trope Co namespace for exactly this sort of gag, so if someone's willing to rewrite the description in a straighter fashion we can transplant most of the current one over there.

Since no one took up the mantle of fixing this I went ahead and did a tenative write up in the sandbox. A copy of the current description is in there to.
My current write up needs a bit of help would someone be so kind as to go over it and do some of their own work.

Sorry if I came across too harshly. It does look better now. Still seems to be lacking a bit more Substance. I have been trying to write up a better intro/description.

It's one of those Trope Co descriptions that are full of marketing hype but don't actually tell you what the trope is about. I thought those were deprecated, or at least belong in a different namespace?
