Last time I checked (and I checked more than once), he wanted to make a trilogy from the get-go. If so, then he wanted to release the 2nd one two-three years after (like most sequels are made). There was no PS 4 in 2006.
Playing the first game on my PS 2. With component cables and progressive mode selected, the game looks chrystal clear on my 1080p TV. Again, don't see the point in the "HD" release.
A higher, more consistent framerate that pretty much stays at 60fps and a higher rendering resolution, as well as a properly positioned widescreen aspect ratio, is good reason for getting the HD version. At least, for me.
It kind of feels like a ripoff when they make you pay for a game you already bought.

I thought they are going to say something at PAX, but, re-reading the article, I see they only said "next time you hear from us".
Watching that old trailer after replaying the first game is so disheartening. It's like, they completely forgot what was so interesting and magical about the first game's setting.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.

since there is this topic,I need somebody's help with my HD PS 3 version:
you know that Mdisk that you get by going to the game's website,type the code you see on the save file,play a minigame,and then get the code and type it in-game to get the Disk?Yeah,it requires an Uplay account,the problem is:I have been trying to register the damn thing for a hour and nothing!I'm stucked at "pick up all the cats" stuff and nothing!I'm tired of clicking on cats!I know it's not necessary to complete everything and you can get all trophies without it,but when it comes to a game I really love like this one,I am a completionist(and I completed the original release way back on my PS 2 years ago as well.) The only thing left to do is asking somebody with a Uplay account to do it for me.My internet code to play the website game is:

I probably wouldn't get my hopes up, but....
Given the Ubisoft screwups since the last time people were excited about this, this no longer exactly fills me with optimisim even if it is confirmed to be coming out.
My other thought was "Isn't the designer no longer working at Ubisoft now?" but turns out that's only half true

Beyond Good & Evil 2 has officially entered production, it seems.
...
And now we wait.
Well, that killed a NX rumor at least(the rumor said the game was more or less done and was a launch/2017 title for the NX). Since it's in pre-production I'm guessing we'll get a CG trailer at E3 but the game won't be done before 2020.
...so.
Also yeah it looks pretty cool.
