THEY KNOW
Remember! Hyperbole is an exaggeration made for comedic effect, and shouldn't be taken literally!OH THEY KNOOOOOW
my drawing blog ya'll UPDATES 10 TIMES A MONTH WOW, THIS IS STRAIGHT UP MUH SOGGY KNEEThey made a statement awhile back that Lucasarts under Disney would focus more on casual/mobile gaming, but that they were intending to keep the franchise strong via licensing to third-party developers.
That's hardly them saying "We're only making shitty casual games, guys!"

Nope, it's them saying, "We're only going to make casual games, for what they're worth. BUT, we're still letting other people make deeper ones!"
Which is basically the same thing
Not really. The way it was originally said made it sound like there will never be another good Star Wars game out there. Don't forget that Ko TOR series was made by outside hands, with Lucas Arts dictating terms. It's fully possible, if they have the cash for it, Obsidian could land themselves a liscense to continue their good work in the SW Universe. It's also possible new companies will pop up to take advantage of this.
Meh. Lucas Arts outsourced most of their shit anyway, so depending on how far into development 1313 was they could still pass it along.
Apparently, no one wanted 1313, because it was just a mess of incomplete parts, not anything coherent yet.
Home of CBR Rumbles-in-Exile: rumbles.fr.yuku.comYou have a source for that?
Not gonna get any hopes up for this one until something far more concrete comes out this time. They did cancel this game even though it was already beginning development and being integrated into the mythos after all.
Funny thing about that: last week's episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars shows Level 1312.
Sony fan here.
