The Pizza Thread

I heard they did that in Japan too, only they replaced the cheese with a hot dog.

Yeah, Japan popularized the hot dog-crust pizza and the burger-crust pizza, I think.

We also have pizza crust with Doritos, I believe.

Personally, I'm surprised Pizza stuffed pizza crust isn't that big a thing. Like normal cheese stuffed crust, but with tiny diced up toppings as well.

I've had cheese and pepperoni-stuffed breadsticks...

I work at a charity thrift shop, and people occasionally donate food under the impression that we can sell it/give it to people in need/something, when we totally can't do any of those things: Point is, if you give your pizza sauce to Goodwill, the only hungry people you are helping are hungry Goodwill employees ^note at my branch anyway - it's sort of up to the managers and I'm sure other places just throw stuff out , and I recently had a good excuse to make pizza English muffins the other day.

^ I had English muffin pizzas for dinner Friday and had leftovers which made lunch today. I had em in both yellow American cheese variety and white Mozzarela cheese variety.

Had a pizza while back in Pizza Hut that had corn as a topping, along with ham and pepperoni.

It would have been better without the ham.

The best pizza I've ever had was in the Chinatown district of Seattle. New York-style portions, but with a firm and non-greasy crust. I wish I could remember the name.

Pizza Is A Healthier Breakfast Than Cereal.

Huzzah! The truth comes out!

Although I actually quite like cold pizza for breakfast.

To clarify; sugary cereals (ones with generally cute mascots etc) have just as many carbs as pizza, mostly thanks to the combination of wheats and sugar, but at least pizza has protein, making it "healthier" in a slight sense.

Health nut cereals (the ones most people don't like) are still better for you than pizza.

TL;DR: wanna be healthy? Eat a salad.

Those tooth-rotting sugary cereals were originally introduced back in the 1950s, so that Mom could know accurately just how much sugar her kids were consuming, instead of them just dumping God-Only-Knows how much raw sugar into their unsweetened breakfast cereal. (Of course, they had vastly different attitudes and values way back then, and the health food craze wouldn't begin for at least another decade...)

Alongside the pizza as Part Of A Complete Breakfast.

I mean, my sister-in-law baked me and my family pizza a couple of weeks ago, and it's wholesomely nice.

I was shocked to learn from the recent Binging With Babish episode with Neapolitan pizza that the wood-fired oven is nearly a thousand degrees and cooks the pizza in about 30 seconds. I'm surprised there aren't more quick-service pizza places that do it Neapolitan-style.

I had Domino's tonight. Not my favorite but my dad was buying so no complaints. I find I like roasted peppers as a topping sometimes - this time it was just cheese.

I got a buffalo chicken pizza from Papa John's last week. It was quite excellent.

I don't understand why people loath pineapple on pizza. Like, I get if you personally don't like eating it, but for some reason people are vicious towards the concept and like? It's not that bad. It tastes pretty good tbh.

I haven't tried it yet but I never was into pineapples in general.

I actually like putting pickles and ketchup on my pizza.

The only pizza I really like is plain and ziti.

How do you guys like to eat your pizza? For me, I like to fold it up in such a way that it looks more like stromboli than pizza.

you're supposed to fold your pizza lengthwise

Tip to crust unless it physically won't let me (whether due to weight or greasy or whatever), then I might have to eat it with a fork.

Angelo's Pizza in Pueblo might be the best pizza in Southern Colorado and it's an eat-it-with-a-fork kind of pizza when fresh or you order the larger sizes.

I just eat the pizza, crust and all.

Sometimes, I eat the crust first, like the way the old Pizza Hut Stuffed Crust commercials did it.
