You should now have enough players to start the roleplay. I'm still interested.

And it will be interesting to see how Jar-Jar, a non-human character, interacts with the human scrappies.

I should tell all of you something. Normally, I'm not on at all from Monday to Thursday. This weekend, I'll only be on today. So after today, I'll be gone for a week.

We'll just say that Kobra was with the party the whole time, and that he's the brooding, quiet type who doesn't have much to say. Besides, you won't be the only one with commitments, so we might not be able to play everyday.

He'll alternate between quiet and brooding when I'm not here and violent, whiny, and a mild klepto when I am. I'll show the whiny side of him the first chance I get.

Something just occurred to me: Nanami is Japanese. How should we deal with the language barrier, or should we just pretend it doesn't exist?

We could just hand wave it and say everyone understands each other.

Yup, universal translator is in play here. Characters can speak their own language, but only if they make a conscious effort to.

I just noticed; I kind of like playing grumpy/Jerkass characters. I've never done anything on the level of Shadow, though. This should be fun.

Me too after Monday morning. Am going off on a work related road trip and won't have computer access until late Wednesday but will probably be so tired you won't hear from me until Thursday

Short version is everyone's woken up in a room and they don't know why they're there. Some are bickering with each other, others are being grumpy and three people are already leaving through the broken down door.

We're off to a great start indeed. Let's hope that this roleplay can actually be finished. None of the roleplays I've played on TV Tropes have ever finished.

Now I just need to think of a way for Jar Jar to recevie that implant to make him less of a scrappy. He won't be getting it straight away, though.

I'm gonna do things through good old fashioned character development.

Thing is, the chip will eventually be removed, and then the character development will happen, since Jar Jar's psychology will gradually get rewired by the effects the chip had on his brain while it was there.

I'm sure we'll come across something. We're just now leaving the room, so we might run into some... Implant... Factory... Or something...

Yes, she is getting on my nerves. Mission accomplished.

I'm playing Sam as slightly more agressive verbally and physically because

A) I'm playing her as what she'd be like if her writers weren't restrained by writing for what's supposedly a kids show, thus the groin attack.

B) If she didn't have Carly around.

@Implant: They'll run into some futuristic stuff eventually, so that won't be a problem.

Right now Kobra and Nanami will just be silently tagging along with the group. If Pan doesn't wake up soon I'll wake her up and move her along with the rest since splitting the party right at the start probably isn't a good idea.
