Suggestion: Good Morning Crono

So, as part of going through and namespacing Chrono Trigger, I was most shocked to find that Good Morning, Crono currently lacks an image! So, by splicing a couple of screenshots together, I created one from the Trope Namer itself:

That does show it's in a video game, but it's only a little better than a restatement of the trope name. Something that "says" something more like "time to wake up and start the adventure"? Don't Legend Of Zelda games often begin that way?

Well, just look at the page quotation... Lots of RPGs start that way, really.

There's also Disgaea, though that one may not be at the right moment. Didn't find a better one, though. Video.

That's not bad at 350 px, but the text would need to be 'shopped to stay about the same size in order to be legible to most people.

What about doing the font edit but also cutting off the sides of the picture just outside the text box? That'll make the picture as big as possible.

Chrono Trigger image is better. The other one looks like something else entirely.

In that case, I'd have:

Oh that looks great.

I have no objections to the Chrono Trigger picture, but I also like the idea of Disgaea pulling off this trope through sadistically comedic methods.

I have to admit I think the Disgea image is funnier.

I like both, but I think the Disgaea image is more entertaining.

Well, I for one am partial to Chrono Trigger since I've actually played that game, but that doesn't mean that the one from Disgaea isn't amusing.

I think that while the Crono example is a straighter example, the Disgaea shows better that it's not just about a Stock Phrase. Also, funnier.

Personally, I've played both, and I think both are great games, so I don't mind either.

Hmm. I'm rather indifferent between the collection. If we reach a consensus in either direction, I request permission to put up the image personally.

I don't mind the Chrono or the Disgaea pictures. They're both good.

Should we vote on a picture now? I'd really hate for this to languish off into nothing because there's no clear decision made.

Gonna go ahead and bump this one for the more votes, but seeing as how lopsided this one is, it may be ready to call. I'd like to plug the picture in personally though, if you don't mind.

It's not nearly enough time...unless we get a big glut of positive votes for the leader by this time Friday evening, I'd say let it run through the weekend.

Fair enough. I'm not familiar with every nuance of how things run around here, so I figured there was no harm in asking.

But it's already been 3 days and there's only one nomination that has positive votes. Even if it's only by a few, the other entries are no higher than 0.
