Ubisoft "Game performed below sales expectations"
Wii U owners that got spurned by the delay are probably having a big "Told you so" moment.
When you put the game one week before one of the biggest games of year, it's expected to happen.
If their "I told you so" moment was because they said the the game wouldn't sell well because it was released a week before a much more popular franchise, and not solely because the game was no longer exclusive to the Wii U, then I'm sure they are enjoying it.
I still don't know why they just didn't release the Wii U version first and then re-release the game on other consoles. Releasing it before the new Grand Theft Auto was just a death sentence.
Is it safe to say that the Invaded levels are this game's Tricky Treasures?
I mean, a lot of them are easy. But some are... oof. Looking at you, The Mysterious Inflatable Island- Invaded.
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaYou ain't seen nothing yet in terms of hardness. Trust me on that. Those final Invaded levels are insane to get all 3 Teensies on.
Right now I've just got the Origins levels to finish up, and then it's on to Livid Dead Party. That's gonna be fun. And yes, I have collected every Teensie so far. Much to my sanity's detriment.
I guess we could go... wherever we please.Excluding a good number of Origins levels, me and my brother have every Teensy AND Gold cup so far. Granted, we cheat some of the levels using Murphy (with good reasons in some cases. The Mysterious Invaded Island isn't a hard level at all, but getting all purple Lums at the very beginning is irritating without Cosmo to highlight them for you).
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaI wish the game had the whole of Land of the Livid Dead as a Back To Origins level. The Big Mama fight is good, but not as good as the big level, followed by Big Mama.
I have a message from another time...I picked up Definitive Edition on my birthday a couple days ago and I'm loving it. I especially love that I no longer have to mess around with the touchscreen to play those Murfy levels. The game is much harder than I remember it, though. Maybe I'm rusty. (The hardest part is picking which character to be. I usually vacillate between vanilla Rayman and Barbara.)
Do you guys figure there's going to be another one of these games? Two doesn't feel like enough.
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?
Heads up, if your PC version seems slow, set it to Windowed and use a fullscreen windowed borderless program, that'll fix it.
