Looks like someone ... won't get fooled again (cue music.) No. No defense of this one. It's Harry X Snape, with Snape abusing his position of power much more than usual, and violating Clause 99 at the same time.

About Travels of the Trifecta!, I have some questions about whether or not it counts as a rule violation because of that one specific scene. One is, does a 13-year old count as a preteen or as a teenager for the "no preteens having implied sex" rule? Also, I would argue that the story clearly treats what Mars does to Conway as being a crime and not as something to be imitated or to be seen as a turn-on, playing it for horror rather than titillation. Does that at all count in favor of allowing the page for the fic to stay on the wiki?

I know that I was the one who originally flagged it, but that was when I had gotten the rules for fanfic wiki entries and fanfic recommendations mixed up.

What chapter does that happen in?

It happens in chapter 10, after Conway gets captured by Mars in a helicopter.

I think the scene would pass, considering it's mild apart from a reference to "helping" Conway out (which could've honestly been anything), and the work has been approved for teen audiences on various sites.

@Ramidel: When you say "If you have to ask, it doesn't count," which of my questions does that refer to? In that post of mine you were responding to, there were three questions where I said "does this count?". The one about whether or not a 13-year old counts as a preteen, whether or not the story counts as a rule violation, or the "Does that at all count in favor of allowing the page for the fic to stay on the wiki?" question?

Does that mean "doesn't count as a teenager" or "doesn't count as a pre-teen"? I know that 13 has "teen" in it and 13-year olds are usually counted as teenagers (like with the rating PG-13) but since it's the youngest "teen" age I thought I'd ask to make sure.

I didn't sign the latest thing I sent your way - The Manga Guide To Psychosomatic Illnesses, which only troped one part of a long series, and that was about Paedophilia, if we get someone who's read the rest, it could possibly have a page, but in its current state, it looks awful.

As it stands it is a stub, two entries have no context leaving only two. Also I am not sure if YMMV items count as far as determining if a page has enough tropes to be a page...

From a cursory scan of the page, it just looks like the page is poorly written. Unless there's a translated version, I can't really properly judge.

Yep, paedopandering is the issue there. Also, I recall that ~Kuro Bara Hime helped us translate some Japanese text when we were dealing with Ro Kyu Bu so I'll ask them if they can help us.

So we're discussing The Manga Guide To Psychosomatic Illnesses, and that the page is just about this particular comic about lolicon and pedophilia. You want to know if it's pedopandering?

I remember coming across this comic years ago. I think only it and one other are translated into English, and I found a SFW place that has it.

There's also an afterword on the Japanese site. It basically goes to clarify further that pedophilia is mainly about always and only being attracted to young girls, and that fantasizing is also bad.

Our page looks either like pedopandering or taking the piss out of a serious attempt by psychiatry to help people. Neither of the above is good, and the "I'm attracted to a 13-year old anime character" trope doesn't help either.

My point was that I do not believe it would be even possible for the dialogue to turn the issue into outright pedopandering (i.e. something aiming to stimulate sexual arousal)

If a work turns out to be praising lolicon's existence, that still may be getting onto the "too creepy to keep" list, though.

Everything that has votes I have already voted on. Already gave my vote on unlocking HookerVerse somewhere. As for Time Braid, I don't feel that the issues in these posts have been adequately addressed. As for Fluffy Pony, I wouldn't rule out the possibility that if can be cleaned, I think it's more of an issue with rounding up people willing to touch it with a 10 foot pole to clean the damned thing.

If Travels of the Trifecta does get voted to be deleted, should I also delete the parts where I put references to it in a few trope pages? As I said before, I added a page for it without being aware of the rules concerning underage sexual encounters in fanfics, and apologize for breaking the rules and causing a problem.

No, as The Content Policy and the 5P Circuit says crosswicked examples aren't subject to deletion, although the link to the work page can be delinked if the 5P have voted to cut the work.
