and Well, if you can provide proof I'm wrong, then I'll concede the point, and my apologies for offending you.
Until then, I have yet to find concrete ages for the characters, but if they are underage, then yes, add it to the deletion pile.
Until then, I'm not going to assume I already know if it's beyond redemption.
And besides, I'm just a simple troper, and it's the P5 who must make that determination, not me, so I understand your feelings and respect your point of view, but I'm just trying to offer arguments why it's not unsavable.
If I'm wrong, so be it, and I'll accept that with grace and move on.
That said, on a personal note, I actually think it looks rather fun and want to brush up my kanji skills and get a copy of Eiyuu x Maou (Hero x Devil) for myself, because I frankly don't find it any more horrible than Sengoku Rance, but again, I could be wrong and/or biased, which is why I'm leaving decisions on this up to the P5.

If you get to reading before this is resolved post a review the 5p might need the input.
Sorry double post.

That rant may have sounded more credible if you didn't put all those sinkhole tropes in.
I cut up one dozen new men and you will die somewhat, again and again.I mean no offense to anyone here, but I've noticed a number of new people posting in this section of the forums (and nowhere else).
I'm not a mod or P5 person, so I can't say anything truly official, but I highly recommend you spend some more time on the other parts of the wiki or forums before attempting to debate content issues or other wiki policies. It really doesn't help your cases if you aren't familiar with the existing standards across the board, so you would be better served focusing on learning the ropes, so to speak.
Take your time, and don't be afraid to have fun. Just remember to abide by the rules, and you'll make for valuable contributors to the wiki.
Now, I return you to your regularly scheduled debate over controversial works.
Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)@Hay Slayer
I'll just fill in for you so you would understand. It's not just trying to save revenue, but also about wanting to build a clean site. Not everyone likes it, but it's the decision the site has come to, and we're putting effort in making it work.
It's important to see that TV Tropes isn't for everything. We don't have to worry about it if there are things missing from this site - it's because besides being a wiki for tropes, there are other considerations we have to keep in mind. And one of them is to have content that's, loosely speaking, safe for work.
Now using Trivialis handle.Don't bother trying to reason with him. It's obvious that he's trolling. *rolls eyes*

Like Totemic Hero said, please read the announcement thread first; it explains the background of the situation. The basic decision made is that there are certain things for which this site is not suitable.
Now using Trivialis handle.EDIT: What I was responding at was thumped.
Nevertheless, abstractematics's point stands. The revenue is an important thing to save because this site needs money to keep going, but it is also about keeping the site family friendly. Keeping pages about certain works can revolt the stomachs of some people who just want to have some clean fun over here reading and editing about works they like and know of. Not only that, but those topics attract people that Eddie, the mods and no sensible person here want to be around of. Therefore, standards must be set and followed without question. I admit that it is not a pleasant thing, and sometimes I do not agree with the decisions taken for the sake of those standards, but I can see the point of them and accept them because, if those decisions were not taken, the entire site would fall. In one way or another. As simple as that.

"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenOk, you really make yourself sound like a troll, even if that's not your intention. I advise you not to do that.
Please understand that TV Tropes is not the Internet as a whole. It's a site within the Internet with a particular theme. Not everything on the web is appropriate here.
Now using Trivialis handle.Edit: Thumped the response part.
Look, I personally don't like the content policy. Not one bit. This is for a number of reasons, both moral and practical.
However, given the situation, I don't see any way that Eddie could have avoided having to have all those pages cut, at least temporarily. If I were in charge, I would have done the same. (Making those cuts permanent is probably something I would not do, but I'm not Eddie.)
The key thing to keep in mind is that this is not just a sealed deal of an issue. We are likely to be working out the complications and problems for months, if not years, to come, and things can change. So chill out and take the long-term view.

Litchi Hikari Club was published in the magazine Manga Erotics F, who demographic is just adults. It runs both manga aimed at adult men and adult women.
@4915: Litchi Hikari Club ran in Manga Erotics F, which despite the title is an alternative/"artsy" manga magazine, not a porn mag. It deliberately does not declare a demographic, but it is aimed at adults of both sexes (according to an editor who attended a US event, the readership is about 60% female). It runs a very eclectic lineup; other works it has published include Ristorante Paradiso, Aoi Hana, and Velveteen and Mandala.
Vertical released Litchi Hikari Club with an 18+ rating; it would deserve it for the gore even if there were no sex.

Looked up the manga in question. I couldn't find a Wikipedia page on the manga (though I did find one on its creator), but I did find this Baka-Updates page on the manga. Let's just say it is not encouraging. Apparently the manga is based on a play performed at Tokyo's Grand Guignol theater.

Looking at the cover shown on the Baka-Updates page, I wouldn't be surprised if whoever wrote that summary used "boy" to refer to high schoolers, which would move it out of automatic pedo-pandering territory.
Are we really supposed to think that this person is underage? The proportions and overall style just don't seem right for that.
