I don't believe this. I've been waiting two weeks for Negima to end and it was right there. Atomic facepalm!
Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.So in an effort to convince me NOT to be suspicious, you guys list MORE mangas that I didn't know were ending????
Then again, most of the manga listed have been going on for nearly a decade now.
There's also the fact that One Piece has been going on for more than ten years now and according to Oda has only just hit the halfway mark.
And I don't expect Detective Conan to end within in my freaking lifetime.
It's already ended. Eyeshield T_T.
As someone who's favorite manga ended not too long ago I can answer this question very easily:
You rage a bit, you get bummed, post your raging online, then find something new to read while keeping tabs on the author.
The first few weeks are awful for sure but after a month or so you gonna be just fine.
It's better than dying without seeing the ending, isn't it?
Weep a little, read online fanfiction and after a few months mourning, move onto the next popular anime on the block
I usually read online fanfics to pass the time and hopefully I'll catch up with the series I hadn't read for months online (still hadn't finished Claymore manga or After School Nightmare), if not then there's always the anime version to look forward to...

In an anime, I'll be the Tsundere Dark Magical Girl who likes purple MY own profile is actually HERE!Well, the reason i said that, is because 1, well i was wrong about the number 3 thing, but fuck dat! And number 2, i consider Special and the Anime to be immortal, as long as the games are ongoing. I'll change my reaction, with this!
If Special ends, i'll be too busy wiping my friend's tears, cause he fucking loves it.
If Naruto (I'm not a fan, but i'll react anyways) ends, i won't be able to react, cause i'm too busy dodging meteors during Judgement day.
If Gakuen Alice (Or any other manga, really) ends, i'll fart on the faces of heartbroken shippers, who's favorite pairing probably lost in the end
If Bleach (Same reason as Naruto) ends, i'll reread the entire series and play the power up drinking gain
if Berserk ends, i will i will pay a therapist to give a session for Kentaro Miura.

Give me cute or give me...something?The Naruto anime is never going to end. Endless Filler after the Final Arc... endless Filler.
My favorite manga ended almost 20 years before I was born. But once I finished reading it, I just started collecting the sequel.
Weird in a Can (updated M-F)Soul Eater's close to ending, too. There're only couple plot threads left in the series and they are currently being stacked on top of each other. I'd say it's going to finish in 10 chapters. 10 monthly chapters, but still.

Ill be happ when Bleach is over, but One Peice...im sure it will stay around for a LONG time.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jXkI1sTDoEgWell, the Bleach anime ended.
..... is it me or are a lot of popular mangas ending/have ended within the past year?
Umm, whut? I'm pretty sure Pokemon Special ending for whatever reason wouldn't mean the end of the entire franchise. So I'm not sure what you're talking about there.
Anyway, most of the mangas I'm following I'm pretty far behind on, so even if they end I'll still have plenty of "new" stuff to look forward to. :P
