I'm looking for a good picture that illustrates how someone has lost his or her mind in a way that helped them survive, or how they were only able to survive something BECAUSE they're insane. Examples from all media are welcome. Characters listed to so far include Black Lagoon's Hansel and Gretel batman (depending on the writer), the heroine of Ian Samson's Idle Minds and Flippy from Happy Tree Friends.
