Looks like you've found two fresh new redirects for Back for the Finale...
Can't see any difference, support that
I agree with the merge.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight! Not entirely an example of where Stock Phrases went bad, but at only 14 wikilinks, "not thriving" definitely applies.
The only difference I can spot in the definitions is that Back for the Finale implies that a character was specifically Put on a Bus, and Hey, It's You! implies they were part of a lesser (possibly Filler) story arc and had no expectation or reason to participate further.
Yeah, calling Ridiculously Similar Trope. Merge.

An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.It seems like everybody's in agreement. Does this need a crowner?
Merge.
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.I made a draft of Back for the Finale in the sandbox with a description that incorporates elements of Hey, It's You! and Hey, I Know You!'s descriptions, as well as some of the good examples from Hey, It's You!. Does anybody object to me swapping it out with the main page as it is now and turning the other two tropes into redirects?
Okay then. Done. The pages are merged.

This is my first time posting in the TRS, so sorry in advance if I do something wrong.
From what I can tell, Hey, It's You! is exactly the same as Back for the Finale. It's about a character whose role in the story has already been completed returning for the finale either to help the heroes or as a Continuity Nod. I can't see any difference between that and Back for the Finale. It's also not very healthy (only 14 wicks and 1 inbound) and has a somewhat non-indicative name that could be confused with a few other similarly-named tropes (Hey Its That Guy, Retroactive Recognition, or You Look Familiar, just to name a few). Is there some subtle distinction between the two tropes or should this be cut or merged with Back for the Finale?
Also, Hey, I Know You! is the exact same trope as well, only it's got even less wicks and only 4 examples on the page (two of which aren't actually examples of the trope). Does that require its own TRS thread?
