My feeling is that without some context, it would end up being a case of JAFAAC.
Do you perhaps have any images?
What about good ol' Tom Sawyer or Huck Finn?
Tom Sawyer◊: taken from the cover of the 1989 book by Macmillan. [1]

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Right now that's my favorite...Rockwell can never get too much love.
Henry Hintermeister◊, 1897 - 1972
Couple of boys getting up to hilarious hijinks doing a classic American past time (building a tree house) while dressed in the American colours of red, white and blue.
That's pretty decent too.
Great.
I still think Ness would be good... he has a lot of design elements common for this trope.
Maybe a picture of him doing something very... American?
Eating a hamburger, playing baseball, something like that.

Evil is my favorite color.Who?
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Yeah, you're going to need to provide a picture if you want that to work.
I like the suggestions, though. We should probably crowner this up soon.
Belief or disbelief rests with you.I think Boys on the tree > Ness > Baseball boys.
The words above are to be read as if they are narrated by Morgan Freeman.Another Norman Rockwell: A Day in the Life of a Boy.◊
Hi, neighbor!I like it, but it's not as immediately understandable as the treehouse boys. I think they get the point across straightaway.
Both the treehouse and the baseball are my favourites, it really catches the "American" feel to it. Also, Trope Eater, next time when you want to give some suggestions try to provide what work they're from and an image or it will be Fan Myopia.
I can't think of anything good for a signature. We can find a good shot of Ness and at least archive it on the Image Links, though.
The words above are to be read as if they are narrated by Morgan Freeman.Agreed.
Supporting the treehouse boys in post #7.
Clock is set.
The clock's up and the treehouse boys have enough of a consensus to run with the pic, so it's up and tagged. Locking up.
Ness. Who else? You can't get more Eaglish than that.
Evil is my favorite color.
