I think this trope is actually very tropeworthy. However, as defined right now, it is much too open and goes out of its way to really include every fantasy novel, movie, or game ever made. "Adventure", "Quest", or "Journey" are clearly overused and make for good examples for the trope. But "Fictional Country Names" and "The Stories McGuffin"? That's taking it too far. I don't know if there are any fantasy works that would not fall under the list as it is now.

I think it's an easy concept and would not be difficult to completely rewrite. But I don't really want to completely destroy an existing page just all by myself, so here it is. Didn't have many edits and only a single post in the Discussion page (the other one is mine made just now).

Whoa.

This is way too broad and it tries to be several tropes all at the same time. Right now it is just a long list of words sometimes used in fantasy titles, which isn't helping.

I think we should split off several tropes about work titles, such as "Quest for the McGuffin" and "Tales of Country Name" (which include synonyms for 'quest' and 'tales', of course). We already have a few tropes like Revenge of the Sequel (any work that has a title like 'revenge of the bad guy of the previous work').

Clocking due to lack of activity.

Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.

Move to cutlist. Although several title tropes exist, this isn't one of them.
