The Evil Overlord list is reason enough to suggest Superweapon Beta as a possible rename, if a rename might help.
step 1: cross-wicking
I'd say it has more problems than just thriving, like f'rex how it's a dialogue line, which has been said to be a no-no for trope names for a bit now.
All your safe space are belong to TrumpI did state that in the OP.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.I'm not sure cross-wicking is step 1, since the name is problematic. That's probably not something we want to propogate.
I agree.
Unfinished, Untested, Used Anyway is wordy, but I think it helps show the trope.

I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Unfinished Untested Used It Anyway: even wordier but even clearer (custom title to add a few commas).
Calling someone a pedant is an automatic Insult Backfire. Real pedants will be flattered.I'm personally fond of both Superweapon Beta and Unfinished Untested Used It Anyway.
I like Unfinished, Untested, Use It Anyway!
Punctuated like so, with the exclamation point. Or maybe Unfinished, Untested? Use It Anyway!
"Did anybody invent this stuff on purpose?" - Phillip Marlowe on tequila, Finger Man by Raymond Chandler.Your version is good.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.First or second?
"Did anybody invent this stuff on purpose?" - Phillip Marlowe on tequila, Finger Man by Raymond Chandler.Hm. Does this trope cover a case like this:
- In Street Fighter IV, M. Bison's scientists are at work creating a new cloned body for him (Bison's Contractual Immortality is explained in that he can take spirit form and hop from body to body). When it's revealed that Seth is mounting a takeover following Bison's death in Street Fighter II, Bison orders his scientist to activate the clone body while it's still unfinished. For reference, according to lore, Bison at full strength is comparable to his Alpha 3 incarnation, and his SFIV appearance doesn't even come close.

Second.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Okay, rename crowner. Made one here
"Did anybody invent this stuff on purpose?" - Phillip Marlowe on tequila, Finger Man by Raymond Chandler.Crowner stuck to thread.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - Fighteer"Use it anyway" is a dialog-like, "used it anyway" slightly less so.
It's really not. Otherwise Red Eyes, Take Warning would also be dialogue like. I don't think you're using the same definition everyone else is.
"Did anybody invent this stuff on purpose?" - Phillip Marlowe on tequila, Finger Man by Raymond Chandler.I love "Unfinished, Untested? Use It Anyway!"
(n+1)thing Unfinished Untested Use It Anyway (customtitled).
And let's not be that pedantic on "lol dialogue like", or we'll have to rename up tp Bread, Eggs, Milk, Squick.
Fanfic Recs orwellianretcon'd: cutlocked for committee or for Google?Exactly.
"Did anybody invent this stuff on purpose?" - Phillip Marlowe on tequila, Finger Man by Raymond Chandler."Unfinished, untested? Use it anyway," sounds like it could be a complete line of dialog to me. It's not the same thing as Red Eyes, Take Warning, which expresses an imperative concept as a verbal imperative, and is directed at the troper, not to anyone in-universe.
I was just raising the point; if that's a popular name, and the mods have no problems with it, then that will be the name.

Well, I disagree completely, but whatever. I find arguing things like this with you usually end in nothing productive.
"Did anybody invent this stuff on purpose?" - Phillip Marlowe on tequila, Finger Man by Raymond Chandler.I'm sorry you feel that way.
I think it's a perfect name, as it gives a very clear image of what the trope is about.
Crown Description:
Vote up for yes, down for no.
17 inbounds and 4 wicks. Now I know this trope is more common since the Evil Overlord List found it a common enough cliche to avoid (the relevant line is the page quote).
Plus the name itself seems like a stock phrase, and the description should be reworked to drop the Example as a Thesis.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.
