There must be some other way to spell "oneechan" though. Like oné-chan or something? I guess that doesn't look right, but then I've never heard of "ee" making a sort of æ or é sound either.

I have the very first one on PS 2. It's not bad but it's kind of sluggish and the game never really tells you where you're supposed to go so I just wander around aimlessly until something happens.

It's a play on words, Onee-chan (Big Sis or a any young woman older than you) and Chanbara (Sword Fighting), so it was born One Chanbara.
Onee doesn't exactly exist, since it's only a romanization, it's only there to indicate an enlogated vowel; Onechambara is pronounced as Oneechambara.
