We already have Shippuden, though. Bleach is ending completely in October or November, it needs a replacement.
The announced Fall release window for Kai fits nicely with Bleach ending, so I'd be pretty surprised if they don't do that.
Edit: I'm not going to be in the IRC tonight. There was a really bad storm here yesterday and half the electronics in the house are dead now, including both desktop computers and the satellite receivers in both rooms.

Bleach is doing the DBZ thing again.
Ah, the typical high school caste system. Where you KNOW the higher it goes, the greater the asshattery.
When you wish upon a side of beef, soon will come an end to all your griefThe glee he must be feeling right now.
These are the words that shall come from my mouth. I shall be known for speaking them. Are they going to dance or kick some ass?

RIP Akira Toriyama, taken from us far too soon.LOOK THERE'S A GREMLIN ON THE WINDOW.
These are the words that shall come from my mouth. I shall be known for speaking them.Fact: Brina Palencia, while not voicing anyone, translated the lyrics and directed the singing performances of these songs!
Ugh, clay is so fattening.
RIP Akira Toriyama, taken from us far too soon.A 'nightless island' seen in the distance seems so beautiful. But it's probably be creepy as heck to have perpetual daylight.
When you wish upon a side of beef, soon will come an end to all your griefHow does it always stay sunny?? How does the show explain that?
Before we delve into that, FUCK YEAH SEAKING SOGEKING SNIPER KING.

When you wish upon a side of beef, soon will come an end to all your griefOf course, Luffy and Chopper are the only ones who can't recognize him.
Is that....
....... yeah no doubt about it. It's Cherami Leigh!
It feels like a pretty humanizing moment for Satan there, being curious about the world and all.
When you wish upon a side of beef, soon will come an end to all your griefThe concept of Satan and demons in general having the capability to feel and understand love sure does sound like a filler arc. ...but the new writers do a GREAT job telling an origin story!
I honestly do love the concept of a Demon finding good in humanity, so I'm actually pretty OK with the backstory in and of itself.
Now, in relation to the show as a whole, that's a different story.
Unless Satan was just saying that to get into Yuri's pants. He is the Prince of Lies after all.

RIP Akira Toriyama, taken from us far too soon. It's a shame that Black Lagoon, my favorite show on the block, got pushed back for Beware The Batman, which in all honesty, is a pretty bad show. Not Tim & Eric bad, mind you, but pretty lame (at least in my opinion, YMMV on this of course).
Now, I don't have a problem with Western Animation on Toonami, I just want there to be good Western Animation. So far the only show I've seen that fits the bill would be Samurai Jack. To me, Thundercats was bad, Beware the Batman was bad, and Star Wars: The Clone Wars is just plain awful. Haven't seen Symbionic Titan, so I cannot comment on that. Again, this is just my opinion so take it with a grain of salt.
I just hope that Toonami can get some better western cartoons to compliment their rather exquisite anime lineup. Or at least have waited to push Batman up when Black Lagoon finishes its run, it's only got four episodes left at this point. I understand most Western Animation is either comedy or kids' stuff, but they can find some good action shows, I'm sure. They already have Samurai Jack.

I just realized they swapped out S. Titan for Cowboy Bebop.
When you wish upon a side of beef, soon will come an end to all your griefOh my god this episode was adorable aside from the explosion.

The problem is that for Western Animation in general, things have been in decline for a very long time, action shows are a rarity and that's a bad thing, what's left is whatever is cheap for Toonami to grab up, and the results are... subpar, to say the least. I agree with all of your sentiment though.
"So long as mankind exists, there will always be battles."I really like Beware the Batman. Didn't care for it at first but it's really grown on me.
Oh really when?
Might I ask where you got that definition from? XP
