On a meta level I feel bad for Goten. Dude is 7 and watched his mom get murdered right before his eyes. Finally gets his big moment and fuses as Gotenks. But then Toriyama decides to fuck around and turn it into a joke fight because he wanted to amuse himself.
And the fanbase forever holds it against his and Trunks' character. They won't even let them age in Super lol

Also I'm glad the anime toned down Asta's muscles cause he was really jacked in the manga but the way he was drawn just made him look really gross.
