Can't wait to see what transpires. Hopefully, this time, there won't be any massive role-claiming like last time.

I was in hot water then, and I was but a herring. Well, technically, Brine was, but yea.

I had to cut my losses when people started role-claiming left, right, and center.

The mistake I made that game was not turning the right person. Had I turned the right person, the game might have lasted longer.

The town of Hiernaugoholm was, in many respects, a peaceful one. While some villages were terrorized by evil shapeshifting monsters, Hiernaugoholm had managed to avoid the brutal attacks and the chaotic lynchings that usually followed them. Such was the town's luck that, even when werewolves finally did show up, they didn't actually have an interest in slaughtering the townsfolk.

Nine-Tailed Cat was the first. He was a werewolf of wisdom, who felt his kind could live in peace and harmony. Instead of killing the locals, he converted as many as he could into lycanthropes through an ancient ritual, then taught them how to use their powers to the fullest extent. His pack preyed on the forest animals, but left the normal humans in peace until they were ready to accept the offer of joining. It seemed, for once, that the arrival of the wolves would be bloodless.

Unfortunately, it was not.

A few villagers remained convinced, in spite of overwhelming evidence, that the werewolves were inhuman monsters who had to be killed. While the rest of the town converted, they simply found ways to disguise themselves among the werewolves. They hadn't the numbers to stand against the wolves directly, but they had the initiative, and they were eager to strike.

One night, the werewolves went out to their usual gathering only to find their leader, Nine-Tailed Cat, lying in a pool of blood. A group of assassins had had caught him by surprise, and with their silvered weapons, even he didn't stand a chance.

From that point on, all hope of peace was lost. Only Nine-Tailed Cat had known the rituals of conversion, meaning that the only way to stop the angry townsfolk was to kill them all. However, none of the wolves knew who to trust. They would just have to take a democratic approach, and hope that they could catch their enemies before it was too late...

Nine-Tailed Cat, Pack Leader, suffered his obligatory game-triggering death.

Also, I'm still trying to wrap my head around the logic of a "flipped" werewolf game...

I would vote randomly here, but no-lynch is always a popular option. As such, if I wish for us to begin our lynching day 1, as I believe is strategic, it's best to vote for the suspect most likely to get lynched in place of Nolynch. That is, the one with the most votes.

Wait, what? Why vote for Duck? Why not wait a night day, see what happens, and then go and lynch someone? Just voting in a spur-of-the-moment way and against a new player doesn't seem like a good idea.

In fact, it seems a bit supicious if you ask me.

It does seem that not randomly lynching someone may be a wise idea. I'm terribly sorry and I should have asked this before we began but are we able to abstain from lynching until we have more information to work with?
