Yeah I still don't get how absorbing the most high ranking Kai would actually make him weaker. It seems to me that his influence would just make him hold back his power.

I do think when Fat Buu released the evil inside of him which created evil (skinny) buu that he suffered a power drop. As a guess

Supposedly Buu with South Supreme Kai absorbed was stronger than Super Buu. In terms of power. It's noted when he temporarily regressed into that form while he's transforming back into Kid Buu.

Eh good point. Southern Supreme Kai absorbed Buu should be stronger, my mistake.

Super Buu is basically Fat Buu holding less back and not an actual power-up, at least in my opinion.

Instant Transmission looks like it takes longer.

Especially if Goku's forgotten where he's trying to go.

Well 9 times out of 10, instant transmission required goku to that two finger pose to focus on a ki signature before popping next to it.

Aside from the finger pose, not really. In the manga IT is usually shown with Goku's entire body disappearing and only motion lines left behind, where uses of high speed movement often still show the person's body, but there are plenty of instances where either technique is drawn the way the other usually is.

... I don't get what the deal with Babadi Buu is. Is he supposed to be Pure Buu having absorbed Babadi, or does he just look like Pure Buu BECAUSE he absorbed Babadi?

It's Pure Buu Babadi Absorbed, which makes him a bit skinnier for some reason based on his in-game model. This is Pure Buu's second absorption after Kabitoshin Buu.

We got tons of bonkers combos...Yeah, Kinda weird there's no Broly!Boo yet.

There is one thing that has always bugged me; where in God's name is Roshi getting constant power for everything electrical in his house, when he's on an island in the middle of nowhere?

solar panels?

Water turbines?

He clearly has a Kamehameha-powered generator he just has to fire a few shots into every few days.
