I'd thought that in power, all Supreme Kais = one Destruction God, but different universes seem to have different numbers of Kais so who knows.

I just went on a Youtube binge and this came to mind. Anybody remember that time Goku rapped against Superman?

I wouldn't bet on that.

Black never transformed into Rose until after he fought Super Saiyan 2 Goku. I admit I have no evidence for this, but considering how big a deal he made of how fighting Goku made him even Stronger, it's possible he didn't access a Super Saiyan form until after that.

I'm likely wrong on this though, because Trunks had Super Saiyan 2 as well, and was still well and truly outmatched. But since Goku is far stronger then Trunks (having Super Saiyan 3 and Blue) I'm guessing that Black got more out of his fight with Goku then he ever did with Trunks.

What bugs me about that is that Black never saw Goku transform into Super Saiyan Blue until now. So if Rose is Black's answer to Super Saiyan 1, that would make his Super Saiyan state on par with Super Saiyan Blue which was leagues above Super Saiyan 3.

So, yeah, that's kind of totally unfair. If that is the case, the Kaioshins are more broken than the Saiyans.

Well Black is a God, and Zamasu is far stronger then most Kais (or even Kaioshins).

Whatever Zamasu did to create him probably means he's got really high base strength, so his Super Saiyan Rose being on par with a form he's never even seen ain't a shock to me either.

Uh... they kind of are. I mean, I'm fairly sure that the weakest Supreme Kai didn't neet to train to beat the strongest mortal ever (in terms of innate power anyway) with a single punch.

Ah, I had that wrong, Goku was in SS 2.

But as far as I can tell, Black saw Goku's Super Saiyan 2 power level and went, "Ah, this will make me stronger!" His power adjusted to match that. His power was already enough to rival it.

Super Saiyan 1 is "you x fifty of you," right? And 2 is "times one hundred of you."

Beerus fought Goku at "times one hundred and fifty Goku's" and knocked him out with a single hit. Super Saiyan God is somewhere in the realm of Goku "times however many Gokus it would take to make Beerus sweat a little" and Blue is presumably "that times fifty."

So then Black's body has compensated for not being strong enough to wipe the floor with a Super Saiyan 2 by making itself stronger than fifty times whatever it took for Goku to not get wiped by Beerus, which was already more than 150 times Goku's power. Even with the precedent set by Dr. Gero, that level of overcompensation scares me.

No, Beerus didn't instastomp 150-times Goku.

He instastomped 400 times Goku, because it goes x50, x2 that, x4 that, far as I recall.

Well I'm not sure how that works mathematically, but even worse.

At least the Saiyans have to almost kill themselves to power level. Evil Kaioshins power level just from minor scrapes. The implications of that are staggering. I mean Black fought Goku a bit and got punched in the gut a few times, but unless he was experiencing some kind of organ failure he didn't seem to be all that hurt.

I think Black's ability to get stronger just form pain is basically the Saiyan racial trait on crack.

it might be some thing unique to him due to whatever is behind his creation, or might be connected to why he looks like Goku, but it's pretty clearly just Goku and Vegeta's Zenkai but better.

What if Dimps and From teamed up to make a Xenoverse/Dark Souls Crossover/Spin-Off.

Like, Towa went awol and used her magic to make a bunch of DB characters into monstrous Time Breaker Mutants, so you had to make your way to the Demon Realm to fight everyone off (either by yourself or with friends) and finally defeat the Time Breakers. And then add some PVP just because.

Trunks notes that Black wasn't surprised when he saw Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan. It was like he saw it before. So Vegeta transforming wasn't the first time he saw or experience Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan. Where did he experience form is a mystery.

Also, Turlus wasn't a good evil Goku in my opinion. He was basically a generic evil Saiyan who looked like Goku for an extremely lame reason. You could stick Raditz or Vegeta in Turlus' role and you practically get the same character. The tree they planted was more interesting than Turlus.

Black isn't really like Goku. He isn't like Zamasu either outside both of them hating mortals. He is his own character. The traits he does share with Goku is his love for fighting and sandbagging.

He takes Goku's love of sandbagging to really dark places considering he could have nuked Earth in a second, but has actively chosen to hunt down every mortal one by one and kill them personally. That's a pretty sick and sadistic course of action.

Wanting to eliminate mortals is one thing, but he's being deliberately cruel. I can't help but think that even if Zamasu is associated with him, the latter would just go the efficient route and blow the whole planet up.

So while he only has two of Goku's traits, he seems to have the worst two in terms of being an enemy.

He doesn't want to destroy the planet, he wants to cleanse it of humans.

Oh right.

Considering how most try to do it, I'd forgotten the difference to be honest.

Edit: However, considering there are ways to Kill All Humans without going after them one by one (Human Extinction attack), it's still deliberately cruel.

Sure, there's no way to know if he knows an attack like that, but still, considering everything else he can do, I find it hard to believe he can't.

Exactly.

He is in fact, deliberately dragging it out to cause suffering to the people of Earth. Of that I have little doubt.

Anyway....Black's Ki blade technique marks the first time the technique has been officially used in the series as opposed to Movies or Spin offs.

It's even slightly different from Sauza's Ki Blade. While his was more of a Ki cutting torch, Black's is a proper sword made of Ki.

This is true. It's likely the difference between the Ki of a mortal and the Ki of a God (or whatever Black is).

It might let them create something more...refined.

Or it might be the difference between a master at using Ki and a member of a military force that doesn't have the first clue of how to use their ki properly.

Black isn't the first person in the series to have a ki blade. Vegetto also had his Spirit Sword technique which I'm positive he uses in at least the anime.

He had to, it wouldn't be apart of his moveset otherwise.

Did he do it in the manga?

I don't care either way, but there are those who will ask so we should clarify that.
