Not gonna lie. Black's pink hair actually looks kinda decent.

I don't know why everyone's surprised that Black's Super Saiyan Pink looks good. This is a series where a pink manchild bubblegum Eldritch Abomination was the main villain for an entire arc, and was AWESOME.

If it's on the level (and it does seem to be so) then it would be within Toriyama's style to give a villain like Black such a colour. He's all about making his final bad guys not look like something you'd expect (though this is no longer that original).

As pushover pointed out, if we can take a pink bubblegum monster seriously, then Super Saiyan Pink Black isn't so much of a stretch.

Until he became Perfect Cell, anyway.

I think she means the Absorbing thing with Buu.

I really liked Buu absorbing people because he did it in a way completely differently from Cell, and acted completely differently from him about it, as well as absorbing members of the main cast instead of just two anti-villains with a bit of character development.

By the time Buu absorbs Gohan, he's pretty much ditched most of his man child traits and has become the same kind of Arrogant Kung-Fu Guy as Cell.

Only when he's winning.

As shown when Vegetto is pwning him, those traits are still there.

Yeah, but every villain throws a tantrum when they lose. Buu was special in that he was always like that.

Buu also acted very childish when he thought he won from Vegetto being a jawbreaker.

How about when he spazzed after he finally absorbed Vegetto? XD

Well it makes sense if you think about it since Cell has all the DNA from the people that Buu's absorbed by the time he takes in Piccolo and Gohan.

But Buuhan is a lot more of an intellectual opponent than Cell ever was.

Super Buu in general was, despite his immaturity.

So over in the YGO thread someone said Super has so thoroughly ruined the character of Gohan that he is now the Saiyan Yamcha.

Goddam, my childhood bleeds in pain and shame. He was the ultimate hero at one time!! The strongest fighter in the universe!

No, the Saiyan Yamcha is still Raditz and that will never change.

I liked Super Buu before he absorbed Piccolo.

Then he became boring.

Black's new form looks kind of lazy. But, then again, so do SSG and SSB. It's just a recolored SSJ, not really all that imaginative.

I'm watching the latest trailer for Xenoverse 2 and at the scene where Goku faces the two Ozarus. I recognize Vegeta. And I assumed the 2nd is Nappa before I realize that the 2nd isn't wearing the armor. Either Nappa transformed after he ditched his armor, or is the 2nd Ozaru possibly Gohan?

Or maybe I'm overlooking things.

As for the movie characters, I wonder if we'll see 13, 14, and 15 and maybe Bojack and his crew. But given that we've haven't seen signs of Cooler's Armored Squadron, I doubt it.

The problem with Gohan in Super is inconsistence. Just that. Flip flopping between "I won't let me go so I can protect my family" and "I'm fine not doing anything" is bad writting.

Other than that, the character is fine. Not everybody has to be a training junkie like Goku, Vegeta or hell, Tien and Piccolo.

Shame on Videl and Chi Chi turning into props upon marriage BTW.

Chi chi only married Goku because Toriyama on a whim decided to punish himself for not wanting to draw her (and clearly had no real plan for her besides just marrying her to Goku) and whatever Toriyama might have had planned for Videl (if it wasn't anything more then her getting stomped by Spopovitch to cause Gohan angst that ultimately meant nothing because he decided he didn't care about him in the first place).

And his massive back-pedalling on Gohan in order to push Goku and Vegeta has really riled up his fans, which has lead to people who don't care now getting pissed, and taking shots at him at every opportunity because they are sick of the Gohan fans complaining, which pisses off the Gohan fans more.....Vicious Cycle and all that.

We've said everything there needs to be said about Gohan (and I think some people even left due to not caring about him, and like I mentioned before, getting sick of it).

That I can agree.

Still, come on, Goku/Vegeta/Piccolo/Trunks/Gohan is iconic, and they probably should have done something with that...
