Also, Chapter 9 of Dragon Ball Super is out...

Frost has a 3rd and Final Form just like Frieza, but is also polite and a nice person.

I still can't believe that they made a COMPLETELY NEW character for DBH, I wonder how Putin is connected to Skot...

To be fair, an older Gohan wearing a cape is not completely unheard of.

There will be at least one instance of Putin shirtless on a horse. And at least one of Putin shirtless carrying a horse. Because Putin does not give a fuck about Tokitoki city.

So Botamo was actually just a gimmick fighter, but Frost seems legit. He actually seems good deal stronger than Freeza, except for Golden form perhaps. Also, the Heat guy seems to be the one to watch out for.

Still no Super Saiyan Pan.

I'm not surprised.

I may have said this before, but I've had some thoughts on Super Saiyan Pan.

As frustrating as it is for them to toss out Super Saiyan to everyone but her, all the characters who have it and the different variations have achieved some form of Super Saiyan in another form of media (barring the two Heroes avatars).

Pan's never been a Super Saiyan in anything else (outside of Multiverse, and that's a fan work) so they might not be willing to give it to her until she does it on screen or in a manga.

Of course, since they opted out on giving it to her in GT, and since they refuse to look at the time at the series ended again, it's really just an excuse.

Also got another theory (that I also may have mentioned before) about Vegeta being pushed as he is.

Someone showed a link to a blog about why Vegeta seems to be trying to catch up to Goku again in Super, where it pointed out that him realizing the latter was stronger lifted a burden from him, but once that initial euphoria left, he felt that old bug again. The difference being that now, rather than believing he was already the most awesome dude in awesome town, he knows he's second best, and can actually take realistic steps forward.

Also, he's actually got someone training him (and is sparring with Goku) for the first time ever, which has been shown to be far better then training alone.

Surprisingly Frost's third form feels deal more threatening because of how much a nice guy he is. :)

Also no Super Saiyans in Universe 6. Uh-oh.

Frost's final form also looks pretty neat. Similar to Frieza's but also different.

I like how Frost used a form Goku had never seen before.

Hell, Goku still hasn't seen Frieza's second form, and Frost jumped straight to the third.

I can't tell if Goku is using regular Super Saiyan, or Super Saiyan Blue however. Can he even use the old Super Saiyan form anymore?

Edit: Also, I liked his solution to defeating fat bear. Hell, I found that fat bear interesting. I'd really like to know if Goku using his full power would have made a difference.

I complain a lot about lack of technique, and Toriyama focusing on pure power, but as others have said (and this chapter showed) using your head is still important.

Goku's using normal old SSJ, and judging by DBH◊, it seems Vegeta will go back to normal SSJ as well.

I'm guessing it's just for the tournament though, don't wanna be too overpowered, I guess.

Well that's interesting. I can get it though. Goku might not want to use his full power right away...though it's a little hypocritical when he called out Frost on doing the same.

Heh. Goku is finally getting that fight he wanted with Frieza: no bullshit anger or revenge getting in the way. Just two powerful fighters testing their strength against each other. I bet he loves it.

Considering one of the upcoming episode titles says that Piccolo and Frost fight, it seems that Goku does indeed lose to him.

Everything they said about the Kikoho was correct except a minor nitpick

He hasn't used the tactic before or since but he's used the attack plenty. He blew up the stage at the 22nd Tenkaichi Budokai with it during his final match with Goku in an attempt to force Goku to ring-out and he used it to damage Nappa in a failed attempt to avenge Chiaotzu - which was actually what killed him, as the Kikoho drawing upon its user's life force was established as early as its first use, courtesy of Kame-sennin's combat exposition.

The Kikoho is extremely powerful (explicitly stated to be stronger than the Kamehameha) but its massive drawbacks make it Awesome, but Impractical. It can hit really hard to foes far beyond Tien's level, but it won't win the fight on its own. Tien would literally kill himself trying to beat 17 or 18 with the Kikoho long before either of them were minorly hurt by it.

Also, Chi-Chi interacting with Piccolo is something I never knew I wanted more of but now I do.

Yeah, The Kikoho isn't the same as Super Saiyan multiplier or something like that. Android Saga Tien isn't going to be killing Namek Saga Freeza with it.

Technically, you're wrong. Ten's used the Kikouhou before, yes, but he used the Shin Kikouhou against Cell. Technically not the same technique.

Yeah. I would say it has more in common with the Kaioken circa Vegeta arc, before Goku just started ignoring the drawbacks. Really powerful in short bursts but you're going to pay for it with your hide.

Like how the Super Kamehameha is a different technique than the Kamehameha. "The same but bigger" doesn't really make it a new move.
