This is a spin-off of the Cross Clash Crisis started by Tachi and lead by Simply David. Since that one is in a modern-setting, this one will be... well, in a Fantasy setting. There will be three prominent locations for starting points. Also, an important note is that these are a few dimensions and worlds.

THE TWO STARTING REALMS ARE:

  • (High Fantasy) Alexandria & the Mist Continent (Final Fantasy IX): A peaceful kingdom rebuilt after its destruction from the Dragon King Bahamut. Ruled by Queen Garnet.
  • (Low Fantasy) Dalmier: A dank, oppressing city where the nobles life in luxury whilst the commoners often have to fight just to survive. The city is split between the rich section up above, and the poor section below, which is little more than a sewer for the rich.

THE WORLD MAP FOR NOW! AHAHAH!

PLOT and the like will be revealed in the opening post. Oh boy, let's have some fun. Totally a hypocrite for doing this but most Crossovers are modern day.

Rules:

  • If I or a co-GM deem your character too overpowered, you may be asked to nerf them. This may include characters with Super Speed to the point of being effectively unhittable, perfect and non-time consuming regeneration, time travelers, time stoppers or just those with enough firepower to conquer a country on their own without breaking a sweat.
  • No killing off other P Cs without the other player's permission. Mooks, however, are free game and can be killed by anyone because they're mooks.
  • Do not repeatedly edit your post after others have posted. First of all, it's easy to miss, secondly it can create paradoxes if characters reacted to your first post rather than your edit.
  • Keep NP Cing to an minimum. It's okay to NPC characters or factions close to your PC.
  • If someone goes one week without posting, their character may be removed from the scene to avoid holding people up. If they return sometime after the week, they can bring back their character anyway they want. Just know that the scene would have moved on without him/her/it. If the other players are willing to wait, however, the character will not get removed, especially there's a reason for not posting, be it due to sickness or holidays or whatever other reason. Just announce your disappearance in the discussion thread.
  • As this is a crossover, OCs are not allowed.

Character sheet:

  • Name: (Self explanatory, who are they? If there's a decent wiki for the series, a link to the character's page would be appreciated)
  • Series: (What series are they from? If there's a trope page for the work, a pothole would be appreciated)
  • Appearance: (A picture would be greatly prefered)
  • Abilities: (What can your character do?)
  • Location: Mist Continent or Delmiar

Claiming this one quickly, but...

  • Name: Queen Garnet Til Alexandros XVII
  • Series: Final Fantasy IX
  • Appearance: "Yep, still myself."
  • Abilities: Can summon Eidolons and use white magic. Also has a lot of political power due to being queen and all.
  • Location: Mist Continent

Oh, and another one, why not.

  • Name: Stiltzkin
  • Series: Final Fantasy IX
  • Appearance: Wanderlust, unbroken English and rare usage of "kupo". Truly a strange Moogle indeed.
  • Abilities: Often found in possession of rare and useful items, which he is more than willing to sell to fund his travels. Due to being well-traveled, he's rather knowledgable and will gladly share the wisdom he's gained on the road with others. As a Moogle, he possesses the ability to fly (or at least float a few feet off the ground; he prefers walking, though).
  • Location: Mist Continent

  • Name: Ryner Lute
  • Series: The Legend Of The Legendary Heroes
  • Appearance: "Man, I just want to get some sleep, are you done yet?"
  • Abilities: Ryner has rare ability in his eyes called Alpha Stigma. This allows him to analyze all magic on a formulaic level and use that analyses to perfectly duplicate it even if he only got a glance at the spell or if the spell was interrupted before it could finish. However, the cost of having Alpha Stigma, is the very high chance of going completely and utterly nuts. Ryner, however, is a special case who has excellent control and would take the extremist of circumstances to make him go off the deep end.
  • Location: Delmiar

  • Name: Bebedora
  • Series: Arc The Lad
  • Appearance: "My puppet threads weave a web of despair..."
  • Abilities: While she has a wide array of magic, and super human strength and durability from being a a non-human monster, her main ability is body control. She can control weaker targets as if they were puppets on a string. This ability seems to work on inanimate objects as well, such as skeletons and statues. For this RP, this ability will probably translate into controlling two npc mooks at a time since in canon we've only ever seen her control two at once. I would personally never have her successfully control and P Cs or boss type villains.
  • Location: Mist Continent (was previously sealed near the kingdom until some over eager adventurer broke that seal, now she travels around in search of a new "Master")

  • Name: Koinzell/Blatt Meister Ascheriit
  • Series: Ubel Blatt
  • Appearance: Another one down...
  • Abilities: Koinzell is pretty able with a blade, proving his previous title of Blatt Meister. As a result, he's able to practice an almost godly level of swordsmanship and cut things many others cannot cut like stone, magic lasers, and metal structures, along with a level of physical fitness that allows him to pretty much ghost through the air in jumps that seem akin to flight. The offside is that his current fairy body is unable to support his previous abilities and thus weakens much more easily, especially when fighting able opponents. When under the moonlight, his fae blood is able to materialize four dark blades attached to dark links that are attached to his right arm. When even under more stress, the fae blood goes wild and takes over his body, giving him an ethereal appearance as well as giant wings that are as sharp as swords. Using this form consumes his body though, so the aftereffects are essentially him becoming a powerless and dilapidated boy.
  • Location: Delmiar

  • Name: Courier Falken
  • Series: Guild Wars
  • Appearance: If you want to be my disciple you'll have to show me your moves first.
  • Abilities: Falken is but a humble mailman. That said, he's a mailman that used to work for a resistance group in a country overrun by monsters. He can't exactly afford the extra weight of carrying a sword, so he learned how to punch the monsters to death. He is an accomplished brawler and has created his own signature move, the Falken Punch, a devastating punch that seems to set his fist on fire.
  • Location: Mist Continent

•Name: Mikoto Yutaka

•Series: Princess*Princess •Appearance: Both versions!

•Abilities: Much to his consternation, very good at makeup and other things necessary for his 'job' as a Princess. Presumably good at running away and hiding, since that is his tactic for dealing with hordes of admirers at school. No real powers to speak of, other than the ability to be remarkably stubborn. And comic relief.

•Location: Mist Continent (can change this to Delmiar to balance things out if need be)

[up] Rejected on the grounds that that takes place in Modern Day, not... middle ages or anything.

Is it okay if I make a character who stands in for a character class as a whole?

[up] I'm thinking of a character who fulfills the overall archetype of either the Fighter or Wizard class from Dungeons & Dragons.

Oh well, giving it a shot.

  • Name: Craft Lawrence, a peddler in anime version of Europe.
  • Series: Spice and Wolf
  • Appearance: Here
  • Abilities: Nothing special, but he's a traveler and a skilled merchant. Has years of experience meeting with various people and a wolf.
  • Location: Dalmier

  • Name: Kino, a nomad that travels (with a talking motorcycle Hermes) from one mysterious land to another, each land with its unique characteristics.
  • Series: Kino no Tabi (Kino's Journey)
  • Appearance: A girl.
  • Abilities: A gunslinger girl, essentially. She's skilled in close-quarter combat, and like Craft above, is used to being a traveler. Hermes is her companion and her main means of transportation.
  • Location: Mist Continent

Huh, that's odd. Works for me. A similar problem is going on for me on the Yuri RP signups with one of the new characters.

I was actually considering Louise too, but she can't really do much without Saito. Also, let me know if I start to slip out of character, so I can correct it. It has been a while since I've watched Zero no Tsukaima
