Well, there's no option in the pulldown for "redirect hunt", so I'm going to go with "not thriving". This trope isn't thriving: 15 wicks, 16 inbounds.

"Item Number" is a pre-existing term according to That Other Wiki, although it is also commonly used in its literal meaning, i.e. numbered items (just google it for a couple million examples). But it is pre-existing, so let me just be clear that I'm not asking for a rename.

So I think this trope needs redirects but I can't think of any. TRS used to do redirect hunts too, so I suppose it can still do that, yes? It would be refreshing to see a simple matter between all the heavy debate here :)

We don't have nearly as much Bollywood stuff as we do for certain other types of non-Anglophonic media. I don't expect this will ever thrive.

Perhaps we should get more Indian users.

Fanservice Dance Number. That's basically what it's about, right?

Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.

[up] I understood the OP as asking for redirects, not proposing a rename.

Fanservice Dance Number is a good redirect.

Does it need to be Bollywood films, or any work with the same type of scene?

The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.

I'm concerned about making it too generic, so as to invited Trope Decay.

How about Bollywood StyleStarlet Dance Number

It'd be better to drop the ;style' since it's apparently only in bollywood films.

According to The Other Wiki Item Song is an alternate name, so that would be an obvious redirect.

How about Bollywood Item Song and Bollywood Starlet Dance Number as the two redirect?

[up]I've added those two and Bollywood Fanservice Dance Number as redirects. Anything else need, or can we close this?

I'm sure we can. Lock-hollering.
