I dont know if you could place an english name on Netorare without it being completely vulgar.
Stupid auto fill crap "Netorare".

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Cuckhold Genre isn't that vulgar and it's accurate. It should at least be a redirect.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickYeah, I support the redirect, since that's not usually the title it goes by here, iirc.
Just watch the page for any future complaining. It's a very hated genre (oh, nerds and their porn).
If I'm reading this right, Cuckoled Protagonist Genre might be better.
Fight smart, not fair.I don't understand the nerds and their porn, but they should stay neutral on the wiki :(
Cuckold Porn or something along those lines should definitely be a redirect. (And that's how you spell "cuckold".)

I think this actually counts as a specific subgenre of regular cuckold porn.
Fight smart, not fair. This is seriously written in a very pretentious, I-hate-this-shit-and-so-should-you manner. And I don't even know this genre!
Anyone capable of clearing the bile?
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerAside from the problematic intro, the examples are really all over the place. There is "girl cheats on her boyfriend", "guy rapes a girl and forces her boyfriend to watch", "girl is polyamorous and her boyfriends know that", and some other stuff thrown in.
What exactly is this trying to be?
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight! It's all of the above.
The cuckold genre of porn is ultimately about a principle male character (boyfriend, husband, etc.) who is torn between the feelings knowing that his ladyfriend is a slut, or was turned into a slut by another lover (or lover(s)). The blanket definition is hard to pin down, because there are tons of ways to play it out. She can cheat on him, they can become swingers, they can divorce, she can be raped, etc. And the male character's reaction can be anything from vehement opposition to begrudging attraction to being aroused but torn by his feelings. But the most broad definition of cuckold is "a wife who sleeps with someone other than her husband".
I personally haven't written any stories of this genre, but I used to work as an erotic fiction writer, and I've seen a lot of other works about it.
Also, the article isn't being pretentious or negative. It's telling it like it is. The genre is that divisive. People either find the cuckold genre extremely provocative and erotic or find it an abomination that deserves to be burned along with its authors.
I am not kidding. Writers get death threats over this type of story.

Netorare at its base is "girl cheats on husband with a guy she has her heart stolen by said guy because the sex was better." (or the husband can think this... Those ones get messy.) can be the fact that she was raped and liked it or went to a swingers party etc, he could know about the arrangement before hand and it didn't turn out the way it was expected to yada.... she just has to have her heart stolen by another man via sex.
Usually will end up rubing it into the husband's face by making him watch, sending a video of the sex or photos.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Okay, so it has to involve sex, is that right?
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!Usually, whether explicit or implied.
There are PG-13 versions of it, but you can say the same thing some other Porn Tropes as well.

It may be a divisive type of story, but there's no need for us to tell people how to feel about it.
When does the article do that? I didn't get that impression.
This paragraph:
"This made me depresssed." — A Crossing Man and Woman reader, summing it up perfectly. Netorare (寝取られ, lit. "cuckold", also commonly abbreviated as NTR) is a notoriously controversial genre of Hentai, with a degree of infamy perhaps rivaled only by full-blown Guro. Even 4chan is resistant of embracing the genre, and if one finds an example uploaded at certain shady websites, one would only need to look at the comments section to see the Internet Backdraft that will inevitably ensue.
Which is the truth, save for the snark about "certain shady websites".
Other than that, it's one hundred percent objective fact.
I think a single sentence stating the the genre is very controversial will suffice.
Usage numbers are insane, BTW:
Netorare Genre found in: 59 articles, excluding discussions.
Since January 1, 2011 this article has brought 6,916
This has to be one of the highest "Inbounds to Wicks" ratios I have ever seen.

I agree that we can be economical, but I think it's worth noting that this is one of the single most reviled types of story genres there are. Like I said, writers have gotten death threats for these sorts of stories. It's more reviled than rape porn.
Just think about that.
Well, it sometimes is rape porn. Except in NTR the victim ends up liking it.
And any chance we can kill that custom title? I understand why it was renamed to the genre, but let's at least go with Netorare (genre) instead to make it more clear that no one actually calls it that.
Reactions to a trope are rarely worth mention. I don't see this as an exception.
Fight smart, not fair. Why are we using the Japanese name for this? "Cuckold" seems to carry the exact same meaning in English, and indeed it's also a genre of porn in English. It strikes me as completely pointless to leave this with a Japanese title. Obviously we'd want to keep the redirect because people are apparently pointing at the page to explain it, but "cuckold genre in Japan" is not a trope.
This thing has 7000 inbounds. If anything, I would add redirects to make it more searchable. And the name sure doesn't sound Japanese to me Explanation.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanAs far as I know, this genre is common in Western porn as well.
It seems like half of the description is talking about how the fans might not like this genre. (I wonder if englsh redirects are an option, btW)
