If there are no replacemebts, could we at least remove the image in Magic from Technology? Because it's not an example (it's Sufficiently Analyzed Magic, not Magic from Technology).

Done, both for duplicate and poor trope fit.

It needs to be something that is clearly created by technology, while still looking like magic, right? That'll be hard to picture, I think.

Clock is set.
Me too.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight! Not an objection, exactly, but: what is going on there?
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I'm not sure, but I think those soldiers are materializing some kind of beast-like armor/mecha setup around themselves.
"Those soldiers"?
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I was guessing based on the first panel of that pic...now that I look at it a little more closely, I can't tell what they are.
Clock's up; locking for inactivity/lack of consensus. No further action is to be taken based on this thread.
We have the same Girl Genius comic on Magic from Technology and Sufficiently Analyzed Magic.
One of them needs to be changed, likely Magic from Technology since that comic features an actual magical wand rather than a machine that replicates magic.
