Don't you think we should come to some sort of agreement on what the trope is/should be before we decide what to call it?

Although there are technically enough votes to call this, it's closer than I'd like. We also have this that suggests that a definition may not be defined yet, which makes renaming premature.

In fact, the top vote getter is named "management" but the trope is describe as being about some kind of commander-in-chief.

That falls under Tropes Are Flexible.

No, not really. If you find trope titles that lie, don't hesitate to start a thread for them (assuming they're underused or misused, but if the title is truly a lie then they most likely are).

The issue here seems to be what this trope page should be about. The present description describes political leaders that are unwilling to prepare to fight against a badguy. Others have suggested names and definitions that could be construed to include any leader of any type ignoring any type of problem.

If we want to expand the definition, we should decide on a new trope description before we pick a new name.

For reference, i was the one that made the crowner and the single proposition. I didn't think I'd get this much reception from it.
