Yeah, the skin-shedding scene and Poison Suu both need to be in the anime. Though I have to wonder how they'd handle the D subplot.

If an anime does get made, which company would you like to have it dubbed by?

Funi must dub all things. All other companies are inferior swine.

But yeah, back on topic. We should totally get Sawashiro Miyuki (channeling Celty) as Cerea. Koshimizu Ami could handle Miia pretty well, I think. I'd say Sawashiro should pull double-duty as Papi (with her Maria voice from Zetsubou-sensei), but that's not fair. Oh, and Hanazawa Kana as Mero.

Then we can just get Hiroshi Kamiya or Fukuyama Jun as Kimihito and we're all set.

"Blatantly Inhuman" is kind of an entry requirement for this one though. Plus we already have two shapeshifters.

Lala isn't "blatantly inhuman". Give her some contacts/sunglasses and her scarf and she's ready to go

EDIT: Neither is Zombina, for that matter. She managed to fool some other extraspecies (and the audience) into thinking she was a Muggle on at least one occasion

Historically centaurs were mostly male too.

Actually, Greek myths did include the existence of female centaurs (called Kentaurides, the feminine plural counterpart to masculine plural Kentauroi). Evidently, however, they were more or less a background element that never featured in any major myth.

Maenads were more common (in terms of female nonhumans), are too humanoid for the story, and are too axe-crazy, is what he's saying.

Three sneak-peak images of the next chapter are up on Okayado's website. Three facts are apparent:

1. Miia's mom is coming next chapter!
2. Speculation on Monster Girls Unlimited is that the first pic, which appears related to another pic posted on the author's twitter, may be depicting Miia's father with what are either the rest of his wives, his wife's sisters, or his daughters (i.e. Miia's sisters) being sensually affectionate with him. It's theorized that lamias suffer from a lack of viable male partners.
3. Judging by Miia's mom, it appears that the number of scales a lamia has on her cheeks is a rough determinant of their age; Miia's imaginary child with Kurusu had one scale on each cheek, while she has two, and her mom has three.
