On March 19th, a new version of Living With Monster Girl will begin to appear on Comic Ryuu (in Japanese, natch, but I expect at least one unofficial translation to show up soon enough.) This version will lack explicit sexual content, so we'll be able to discuss it on this site.

WOOHOO! I thought the original was incredibly cute, and I can't wait to see more from that author.

Really looking forward to this, hopefully it gets picked up for scanlation (since it'll never be licensed). Not sure how hard Comic Ryuu raws are to find, however.

Goddammit, and here I was hoping we wouldn't have to do all this harem shit for once. I liked the idea of it being just about Miia and Kimihito's relationship. It was much cuter that way! Now we're going to have to sit through the same damn harem gags as always >_<

So I heard this was Bleached Underpants and began reading the first chapter at the library. Yeah. Should've read a bit more into that. Anyways; cute, funny, sexy. Works for me.

I'm not a ass man, but I am eternally grateful for the harpy's. That ass the one thing that will protect the Daily Life With Monster Girl page from being cut. It truly is a goddamn miracle of the universe.

Wait, isn't she petite? Wouldn't hers be some flat skinny-girl ass?

-rereads chapter-

Dear lord how did I miss that. It is... It is wonderful.

Anyways, for anyone who dislikes the harem direction this is going to go, keep in mind that we gotta please the non-lamia fans. I mean, i'm an equal-oppurtunity monster girl enthusiast myself, but some of the gals have freakishly devoted fans that would crucify anyone for not including them.

They can have others without resorting to a harem though. Personally I prefer the lamia but whatever.

Yeah, why not do a "monster-girl of the week" sort of thing, like Bakemonogatari? Each chapter they help a new monster-girl without anyone joining any kind of harem. Because dammit Miia is adorable and Kimihito is her darling, stop trying to fuck with that! D:<

It's a shame that it couldn't have the multiple monogamous couples that the original had, but I'll blame Pragmatic Adaptation. I'm earnestly just happy to see monster girls.waii

Hopefully the centaur girl isn't a [CENSORED]... little girl. [lol] Tasteless jokes aside, judging from the original H manga, the only one who we have to watch out for is the slime girl. (Hopefully all the fan service will go to the older looking form) Damn it, my favorite type of Cute Monster Girl better not be the one that gets the page kicked out >.<.

Oh, and before you reply, I know that due to the new setting both slime girls and Dullahan girls are unlikely since they don't make much sense at being subspecies of humans (Maybe the latter, but definitely not the former) But since these are my favorites, I'll cling on to my meaningless hope!!

[up][up]

Better idea. Different 'couples' that interact with each other. Each 'couple' could have a different type of relationship like one that treats each other like siblings or one that treats each other like friends and things like that. While I don't mind harems as long as they are well written/not the complete focus it is sad to see this is going for a generic harem route.

[up] *high fives*

And seriously, I cannot stress this enough. IT WAS FINE BEFORE YOU SILLY FUCKS. Miia and Kimihito's relationship was already pretty much explicit, having gone much farther by the time their introduction was over than most harem leads go in over three-fourths of their own story, and there was plenty of drama and tension from the setup alone. Fantastic Racism combined with Cannot Have Sex Ever mixed in with some Slice of Life and maybe some personal drama outside of their relationship could've easily held this series up for a long time, and would certainly have had more merit than this crap harem direction it seems to be taking.

I was thinking of addressing that I preferred the previous form of the monster-guy relationships, but I guess that won't be necessary.

Wait, isn't she petite? Wouldn't hers be some flat skinny-girl ass?
It's called "pear-shaped", and it may well be the reason I still cling to this mortal plane.

Question: Why does The Monster Girl Encyclopedia redirect to our page on this series?

Because it and Monster Girl Quest were cut and they were redirected there to keep the inbound links to them.

...I don't understand the logic behind any given part of that, but okay

They're all part of the same general universe, so Living With Monster Girl (being the only one that wasn't against the new content rules) was given all the redirects.

Monster Girl Quest was cut for a combination of porn and pedo-pandering. Monster Girl Encyclopedia was cut for pedo-pandering.

Please don't discuss this here. Here is the Content Violations forum. If you have any questions, take it to the About Content Violations thread. You can also see the threads on Monster Girl Quest and Monster Girl Encyclopedia there.

New chapter. New girl.

She's a centaur. And she seems to have taught herself social norms via extremely cliche manga.

And that's... not the only thing about her.

The character is kind of amazing, I have to say. It's too bad that she ends up kind of short-changed. Too much time is spent on the ecchi elements that could've been better spent on more funny dialogue with her and a plot with... less unfortunate implications. I guess she ends up saying that it wasn't rape, but... well, still. The whole boob-grabbing thing was really forced, too, and I'm afraid that's what we're gonna have to get used to with that character because her options for fanservice are kinda... limited.

Well, as much as it disappointed me too with a series like this you gotta realize the fanservice comes first and the plot development comes second. Which is funny because MGQ was able to twine the two together quite well... But we're not allowed to speak of it so I won't anymore.

We still got some funny gags. The idea that centaur-gal was running around proclaiming regal equine dominance with a replica toy sword gave me a chuckle.

Relevant image from 1d4chan I found funny.
