Though, hmm... at 13 chapters of around 20 to 30 pages each, does the first series have enough chapters for 13 episodes?

Perhaps not. But maybe they'll throw in the beginning of the Kuro arc to serve as a Sequel Hook.

Or heck, just slip in some filler. As long as it's hilarious...

The first 'season' has enough material perhaps for around 4 full-length episodes, less if they go the OVA route.

This is great if it's true. Looks like Carnival Phantasm's success opened the door for more lighthearted Type Moon anime.

Still can't say I'm sold on the idea, but there is the possibility it will work better when animated.

I wanted Girls Work to be done and Angel Notes to be animated, but I guess this is fine, too?

4 episodes would be nowhere near enough to cover the original Prisma Illya. It's about ~90% as long as two volumes of Railgun, for comparison, and JC Staff got nearly a full cour out of that with several filler episodes tossed in.

They should be able to hit 11-12 episodes easily enough with some of 2wei's side-stories pushed up and/or anime-original episodes. I'd be quite surprised if they don't add some Happy Einsbern Family fluff, given that this will be coming out after Fate/Zero finishes.

Will Saber be something besides a boss this time?

They made a whole AU about the Emiyas being a happy family, and she's the only one who doesn't get a good end. :(

Well, they're relatively normal. For example Sella, Lieseritt, and even Irisviel seem to be all mostly human, instead of being homunculi, and Ilya herself is actually about ten years younger than her counterpart in Fate/ZERO or F/SN. That said, Iris and Kiritsugu seem to spend an inordinate time overseas for "work".

They are being offscreen just for the sake of making grim derp into happy awesome. That alone, makes them awesome

But Iris is always crazy awesome and hilarious whenever she shows up.

The only Servent so far to have a personality is Gilgamesh that's strictly cause he got seperated from what I assume is ODO's corruption. everybody else seems to feral/demon like to be characters

Honestly I don't see the point of trying to make Saber a Cast Member... She works as the Awesome Battle boss, and Shirou doesn't need another ANOTHER girl trynig to kill him for his attention. -Rin and Luvia already got that covered and Kuro trying to molest him every other minute-

Though I'm not really ready for Kuro/Chloe being animated... seeing she's the reason the Manga's pg ranting jumps up three levels and then there is the ending of the Beach episode!

Though... I wonder Will they play Emiya when it happens the first time?

and as for content, While Yes the first Season has a fairly tight narrative, you could easily make eps on Rin and Luvia's hijinks off screen which are implied, or you could do a little more world building -IE Establish Rin doesn't want her Parents to know she's in Japan, Sakura is infact Aoi and Kariya's daughter Since Rin admits She's part japanese here, Zouken is no longer satan just a whacky old man, Plenty of stuff you could do!-

so,the recurring characters are having their voices kept(with Shizuka Itou reprising Luviagelita from the Fate/Unlimited Code fighting game,though she was originally voiced by Yukari Tamura in her cameo in the original VN)and as joke,we get Kohaku and Hisui as the magical wands,huh?
