I don't know if it's a good idea. Hovercars fulfill the same roles as normal cars do; they're only different aesthetically. Flying cars do something different.
We're not just men of science, we're men of TROPE!This trope doesn't already include hover cars? I didn't even realize there was a difference.
^^ That seems like an extremely fine distinction, an invitation to misuse if we were to hew to that definition, and a fuzzy line besides.
For example, the Back To The Future "flying cars" totally fulfill the same role as wheeled cars do. Just not always.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Since the examples right from the start included the hover bike from Star Trek 90210 and the Star Wars speeders, this thread seems redundant. Hovering vehicles are already included.
Hover Car is an alt title too.

That settles that then. If there are examples of hover cars missing, just go ahead and put them on the page, no need for a repair shop thread.
Yes, hovercars are fine for this trope.
Rhymes with "Protracted."Right, I'll just add the hover car examples to the flying cars article and call it done.

I'm wondering if flying cars can be expanded to include that other common sci-fi car type, the hover car. These type of car are quite common in certain sci-fi films/games/tv programs but I'm not sure if they quite need there own page. Hubcap Hovercraft is distinctly separate in the car has wheels but can also hover. Hover Tank is not for personal transport vehicles, although it could be changed to 'Hover vehicles'
