Wow, that's horrible...GIS should turn up any number of good replacements for that. The Wikipedia one is alright, but I'd prefer something that makes the hat and scarf as obvious as the current.

The blurriness is because it's taken from the cover of an old pulp paperback. If we're going to change it, I'd like to see something in the same style.

Eh, it's easy enough to get rid of the text. This version
◊ is slightly smaller than the current image, but taken from Shadow Hog's image so it's crisper. Shall I swap it in, or do we want the text after all?

That is one incredibly blurry image. Double-checked that it wasn't a poor load, reloading the image and the entire page a few times, but every time, it comes out looking like a JPEG that hadn't finished loading properly - and it's a GIF.
I don't really have any suggestions on hand (maybe the other wiki's image?
◊), but pretty much any image of the titular character would be higher-quality.
