I'm going to actually say that I personally prefer the current one, but that's just because that particular cartoon is one of my favorites. I'm fine with changing it for clarity's sake, but I'd rather see a picture of Marvin disintegrating Dodgers myself.
I would be interested in seeing a Daffy Duck/Marvin the Martian pic as well, if there's a good one out there.

There are the heat rays from The War of the Worlds. I've seen still images of a person being turned to dust by those. Also maybe two panels showing disintegration by laser in Fallout 3 or Fallout New Vegas.

Alright, we've had enough consensus to make the change for a while now. The new pic's up, potholed, and tagged. Locking up.
I support the Destroy All Humans one. It doesn't look like melting/whatever to me because the skeleton is still fine.
