Multiplayer?
Non-Linear Roads?
I'll admit, I'd like writing a giant message in roads and building cities across it.

Happiness is zero-gee with a sinus cold.I loved Sim City 4 so much.
I hope that this is as good or better.
I loved making wars between a Soviet Union-esque country and an America-esque country
They went into neo-weapon stage very often (The disasters, but with different names, like Meteor->MOAB, Robot Attack->STS-234 Gravedigger Mech)

FIMFiction Account MLPMST PageI can't wait. I love Sim City. Hopefully people were severely beaten after Societies and have learned their lesson.
"Tyyr's a necessary evil. " SpiritBut if that's true and it's really called "Sim City 5", then Societies is apparently officially just a spin-off. That, at least, is good.
People aren't as awful as the internet makes them out to be.Why would it matter if it was a spin-off or not? What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet, and a crappy game by any other name is just as bad regardless.
Happiness is zero-gee with a sinus cold.Last I heard, Simcity was dead forever and going to be nothing more then Facebook apps.
"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984I just hope this has more depth than Society.

The franchise isn't dead? GLORIOUS DAY! I just hope it can live up to Sim City 4
Societies was many things, but a Sim City game it was not.
"Tyyr's a necessary evil. " SpiritIt was fun. But it wasn't really Sim city.
Since you can link sims from your Sims game into Sim City 4 games, I'd like it if you could link in Sims 2 and Sims 3 sims into the city.
And even link a sim city sim into Sims 3.
Happiness is zero-gee with a sinus cold.^ It'd be really nice if they did something like they did with Sim City 2000, which allowed the user to input their cities into games like Sim Copter or Streets Of Sim City.
For a while I've wanted a Sims game that can link up to a Sim City game, such that your Sims can visit areas in your city, work there, interact there, etc. Maybe even influence the growth of the city in Sim City by becoming an important person and making city management decisions on a more down-to-earth level than the main Sim City games' omniscient mayor viewpoint.
Like for example, becoming a major player in a company and making a deal as a Sim which brings certain kinds of business to the city in Sim City - something the mayor in Sim City can do on their own (you don't want to make the two games reliant on each other, after all, just able to be linked together), but which would require something else - sort of like how in Sim City 4 you could unlock buildings and kinds of development options the old fashioned way, or simply complete the relevant mission.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Time to wet your pants.
WOW, it looks almost like one of those miniature models that engineers build to show off during executive meetings! And the light vigil on the bridge as well as the city skyline at night is impressive. Are they planning to release a video soon?
darn i won't be able to run it ;-;
NO TREE FOR ME (ALSO LOVES HER BOYFRIEND)(sigh)
Its gonna require Origin wont it?
I hope that there's more disasters.
I'll have to mod in an apocalypse.
