^ It'd be really nice if they did something like they did with SimCity
2000, which allowed the user to input their cities into games like Sim Copter
or Streets Of Sim City.
For a while I've wanted a Sims game that can link up to a SimCity
game, such that your Sims can visit areas in your city, work there, interact there, etc. Maybe even influence the growth of the city in SimCity
by becoming an important person and making city management decisions on a more down-to-earth level than the main SimCity
games' omniscient mayor viewpoint.
Like for example, becoming a major player in a company and making a deal as a Sim which brings certain kinds of business to the city in SimCity
- something the mayor in SimCity
can do on their own (you don't want to make the two games reliant on each other, after all, just able to be linked together), but which would require something else - sort of like how in SimCity
4 you could unlock buildings and kinds of development options the old fashioned way, or simply complete the relevant mission.
