I realy love the way that the ED song started in the background when the characters are still talking. Just like in Ano Hana. Somehow that sounds amazing to me.

Not really a sequel hook, more like a blink-and-you'll-miss-it happy end.
Great finale. Lots of action courtesy of Lemon and the MIB, some minor but nevertheless interesting reveals (like Manami's husband being an MIB operative) and a bittersweet ending to top it all off.
My only nitpick would be how sudden the ending is, as I would have liked to see more of Ichika's return to Earth and more closure to the relationships. But other than that, the show's excellent entertainment, and I'm quite sad to see it go.

If so, great. That would certainly address my nitpicks about the finale.
Unless, of course, if the OAV is set before the final episode...

(and has been for quite some time now, too!) 
Even in Hanasaku, we're shown that cellphones are pretty much a part of the lives of 'modern' teens. Remember all those scenes with Ohana and her phone?
