At the very least, the can put it on Android as well.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Ipad not Iphone, so Android is by no means a certainty.

"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Because hardcore AD&D lends itself well to "slash the screen" and "pinch the window".

"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984Supposing that it was aimed for the "hardocre" fanbase
http://steamcommunity.com/id/Xan-Xan/This is the most pointless thing since How to Learn French was translated into French.
An HD release is not a pointless thing, I want to play this game in high resolution you know
http://steamcommunity.com/id/Xan-Xan/Also, Baldur's Gate I & II are not on the friendliest terms with the latest versions of Windows.
Jonah FalconTell me about. Lag, transparency issues, fog of war that doesn't work, unless you go to the menu and back to the game first... And BG 2 is at least better about it then PST or IWD 2.
Still, I wouldn't get it. Despite these issues, it works fine enough, so there is no reason to buy it again.
That doesn't do anything about the issues, I mentioned.

People aren't as awful as the internet makes them out to be.I'm bumping this up because BG Enhanced Edition is on Steam sale at the moment and I've personally just found out that BG 2:EE will be released in about 6 weeks.
BG Enhanced Edition has had in the region of 500 fixes post-release alone by the way. For all the issues there were initially, it's a hell of a lot better now. Well worth it, only version I'd play again.
My name is Addy. Please call me that instead of my username.I've heard mostly bad things about the Enhanced Edition, mainly from old school BG fans, with most of the complaints aimed at the writing of the new characters. Haven't played it myself though. Baldur's Gate 2 seems more interesting with the 30 new locations, but I'm not sure it'll be worth the price. I just replayed the game recently anyway, so I'm in no hurry to get it.
I can just imagine the backlash they'll receive if they do go ahead with a Baldur's Gate 3. They should just make a completely original game set in the Realms, and maybe add some Easter eggs.

For we shall slay evil with logic...Some people will always object to new content - even though the new content is entirely optional and there's been literally nearly 1000 bug fixes, including some gamebreaking ones, over the whole process. A year ago, more of the complaints were valid (the initial release just wasn't stable) but not now.
Which isn't to say I think it's perfect, but it's far better than the original, without the punishing difficulty of Tutu.
2nd one, they'll have learned from their mistakes with the first so it should be better right out of the box.
My name is Addy. Please call me that instead of my username.I don't have a problem with a BGIII happening as long as it's a new story rather than trying to continue the original series - that was the original plan for BGIII back in the day before it got scrapped anyway, to have it be the first in a new trilogy.
(and before the inevitable "well, why not call it something other than Baldur's Gate if it's a new story" question comes, it's because the publishers still had the rights to the BG name but not the D&D name)
Somehow you know that the time is right.I'd be more excited if they'd get off their asses and do the Android port, since the original BG 1/2 with mods is still better than the few updates they've delivered here.
Honouring their promise about improving the multiplayer would be good, too.

I think the point of post 64 was that the writers of the two articles referred to were a bit confused as to what actually made up Baldur's Gate 2 and what the bits were called. Shadows of Amn being the title for Baldur's Gate 2 itself, and Throne of Bhaal being the title for the xpac.
Like Baldur's Gate 2 - Shadows of Amn,
Baldur's Gate 2 - Throne of Bhaal.

It had better not be the only platform, or there will be torches and pitchforks.
