The fact that he specifically writes "girls" makes it sound more like Ambiguously Gay. If he'd written something like "Is he even interested in relationships," that would imply asexuality more.

Unless the author's working from the perspective of heterosexuality being a constant. It's plenty ambiguous. And also frustrating.

I didn't think there was a topic on this. I played on the 3DS and got hit by the room freezing bug, but I saved outside the PEC room before going in so I could continue the game as normal.

So, if anyone cares, I've finally gotten around to playing this game. I like that it has voice acting. Though, the 3D models come across as just not realistic enough, to my eyes. I think I preferred 999's sprites, but it's not too bad.

I've managed to hit two To Be Continued branches, and one Game Over. Kinda reeling at the sheer number of branching paths this time around. Should be interesting. I will say that the ability to jump to story branches is a godsend compared to 999, where you had to reload the start and replay the room escapes every single time.

Anyway, just thought I'd mention it. I suppose I should have waited a little bit, since this basically says "Hi! I can't talk about the story for a while!", but eh.

Honestly, after having played 999, I'm second guessing everything that happens in his game. Even stuff like Dio admitting to having killed the old lady and taken her bracelet makes me suspicious that I'm not being told the truth. I'm also wary of my own reactions. Like, after having wound up in the leftmost path, I can't quite bring myself to yet go down the paths where you betray Luna, after seeing just how hurt she is by that. But that only makes me suspicious that Luna will turn out like Akane.

So, in summary, I don't know how anything fits together yet, and any clues are being second-guessed until I don't know even more thoroughly.

Mission accomplished, I suppose.

Yo. Haven't been playing this for a while, but interest was expressed in my reactions, so anyway.

Hopped over to the cyan door path to get some more story threads going. Two things:

1: I'm prety sure that the lack of a dead body in any of the rooms this time around is significant. Even more significant is that Sigma appears to know that something's wrong with that.

2: Zero III's nickname for Clover is morbidly fitting, considering her role in the last game.

edit: And now Phi's not immediately trying to get me to Betray? Do different people have different info in different story branches? I wouldn't put it past this game.

edit: ...What the heck was that? Visions of another branch?

I think I should just say that my status with this game is "what the hell is going on?" until further notice. In a good way, though.

So far, I've gathered that the place is rigged to explode, I'm not the only one who can step back in story branches, Phi is getting revenge for a story branch I didn't do yet, and we might be on the Moon, judging by the external shot in the explosion premonition. It would explain Phi's incredible jumping skills.

Okay, now the game's just screwing with me. There's no way Alice could have changed her vote at that point. The only variable was my vote!

The real question is who do you think is Zero? Because the answer is that Zero is all the people. All of them.

Clearly, Zero II is G-OLM.

Speaking of, it kinda bugs me how everyone starts calling Zero III "Zero Jr."

Logically, the person they're calling "Zero Sr." is Zero Jr., since the AI is Zero III.

On the story end of thigs, I can't put this thing down. It's throwing so many curve balls that it resembles a batting cage in a hurricane. To sum up so far, I might be a robot who can see the future. On the moon. Maybe.

And the story keeps changing, despite the branches not having that many variables to them. I'm expecting anything at this point.

Spoiler alert^* not actually: VLR is actually what Junpei was off doing before coming home and getting kidnapped. He was actually playing a 3DS game ABOUT THE FUTURE.

Got to an ending. Specificlly, the Dio End.

A few thougths:

Okay, yup. Time travel is definitely happening. Looks like I'm going to have o make more loathsome betrayals to get all the info. The Betray option was just gut-wrenching, even if I had to do it to progress. Especially since it was basically kicking Clover while she was down.

Also, sure, game. They're wearing these suits because of a virus. They feel floaty because of the anesthetic. The area outside is a desert. The place has an air pressure difference because of quarantine purposes. I'm sure that's all true. I'm on to you.

Four endings gone, and things are becoming more clear.

Well, some things are. Other things are just getting more and more nuts.
