Magic Academy RP

Alexander smiled and looked at his hand:

"I have aquamancy. Which is funny, because I spent most of my childhood in a small island."

Sammy looked around, and then whispered in a sly way "I haz telekinesis." She returned to her normal voice "Not surprised, really."

Reitt just sighed and walked over to the group talking, deciding to see if he could get himself involved in a conversation.

That kid from before, the one with a loud voice, and some others.

The necromancy girl intrigued him, they both had similar powers, so maybe it would be good if they became friends.

Gretchen finds herself at a loss of words, and merely whimpers, terrified by the number of people who were paying attention to her. She looks at her feet trying to look small as tears well up in her eyes.

Alexander immediately noticed Reitt, and proceeded to shake his hand as he did with Gretchen:

"Hi there! I don't think we've been introduced. I'm Alexander. Nice to meet you!"

He immediately notices Gretchen crying and looks terrified:

"Oh no! Is it something we did?"

Sammy looked at Gretchen and said in a soft voice "Hey, it's okay. We're... Your friends." She smiled at her, hoping to at least stop her from crying.

Reitt spoke up for Gretchen, "Easy guys, easy...just ease off and don't stress her."

He then responded to Alexander, "My name's Reitt Blenforte, nice to meet you, Alexander."

"Yeah, we won't hurt you!"

Yes, really, that's convincing, Sir Howler Monkey.

Reitt just looked on. Maybe it would be wise for him and Gretchen to stick together. Dark Magic like theirs was usually frowned upon.

Gretchen just breaks down crying, curling up into a ball.

"...Okay, this is way beyond any acceptable standard. Now, we're gonna give the poor girl some space, you there." He looked over at Sammy, "Make sure she is okay."

He started to walk off, fully expecting the others to do the same.

Alexander looked at Reitt and then at Gretchen. After a few seconds, he bowed respectfully to Gretchen and followed Reitt, hands behind his back:

"So, what is your type of magic?"

"Why do they always have so many teeth..." Nate walked back out of the tower, clasping the struggling toad summon tightly. Turns out Reptile spells weren't compatible with summoned amphibians, and they weren't the most pleasant of creatures...

He was suddenly distracted from his new bite wound by the sound of crying. "Hey, what's going on?" He asked the dispersing group as he walked towards them.

"...I use Dark Summoning, meaning I can create anything from Golems to help me in battle, to creatures to act as my weaponry. I also have something of a secondary type..."

To illustrate, he summoned a somewhat creepy looking black, bird-like creature with six red eyes, and it distorted until it became a long sword with six eyes on the Pommel, a wicked blade, and a subtle dark aura to it.

He dismissed it, and the sword dispersed into the air.

Alexander stared with childlike wonder at Reitt.

"Wow... that is amazing! I hope I can do cool stuff like you in the future!"

"Eh. Bad memories are essentially the citizenship papers of Europe. You live there, you have them." Part of her wanted to comment about her brother being an exception, but she managed to shake it off. I really don't want things to get more awkward, given how bad they are at present. She glanced back at the tower and caught a glimpse of Nate, but decided to remain silent.

Reitt chuckled a little at how naive the kid seemed, and nodded, "Oh, don't worry, eventually everyone here will learn the best ways to use their magic. Hmm, maybe some people around here should form a club..."

"A club?! That sounds like the best idea ever!... But what would a magic club do?"

"I don't know, maybe plan events...talk to the Student Council if there is one...have advanced tutoring sessions for students...It is definitely something to consider, right?"

If they could advance faster, it was thoroughly possible for Reitt to make a powerful club, and maybe even challenge those cliques and eventually...control them.

"That sounds so cool, Mr. Reitt! I would be honored to join a club with you!"

Once the group had gathered around Gretchen, Kaleb knew he was no longer needed. It seemed to him as if with every additional person, she seeemd to get more and more nervous. She accepted his apology, and that was good enough for him.

Mostly.

He stepped back from the group, not even bothering to listen in on the conversation or conversations taking place. However, he thought, Alexander sounds like a pretty cool guy.

As he stepped away from the group, he noticed another person, who seemed to be tightly holding onto a toad, coming toward them. He had asked what was going on.

Kaleb sighed and addressed the Toad Carrier. "I bumped into her on my way out. I guess a bunch of people saw what happened because before I knew it, we were surrounded. I didn't mean anything by it."

The last thing he wanted to do was piss off any competent magic users.

Now that most people who had gathered around her had gone, Gretchen had begun to calm down, and slowly rose, tears still glistening on her cheeks.

Brendan stepped not-so-discreetly between Alexander and the other boy. He didn't trust him, and the little lad was far to naive to fend for himself. "Will you introduce me to your friends, Alexander?" he asked, his eyes not leaving the shadowy youth.

Don't you touch him.

"Oh, of course! Mr. Reitt, this is Mr. Brandan, first of many friends I'll have here!... Mr. Reitt was talking about "magic clubs", and he even showed me what he can do- and it's really cooool! You should see it too, Mr. Brandan!"

Reitt caught the meaning of what was going on. You don't survive your parent's little idea of the Cult of Schwartz without picking up some talents. This boy in front of him seemed very, very protective of little Alexander. He repressed a devious smile, "Yes, I was discussing making a club to further our educations, and help with our studies and tutelage. It is very nice to meet you, Mr. Brendan. My name is Reitt Blenforte."

He smiled at Alex, "You have very nice friends, Alexander."
