Magic Academy RP

Elisare walked out of the school and approached the three students. She looked slightly annoyed and kept glancing back in the direction she had come from. "Oh, hi. David, right?"

Oh come on. she thought. Of course it's David. Do you really have to ask?

When she saw that he had his wand out, she raised an eyebrow. "Am I interrupting something?"

After sorting her nose out using the old fashioned method of shoving tissues up the nose until it stopped bleeding, Sammy walked out off the bathroom and back into the auditorium to collect her bags.

David: No, nothing's wrong. Just showing off this weapon I created over the summer.

After collecting her bags, Sammy looked at her map of the academy. "Oh, gosh... Where do I go?"

"So, what now?"

Havin listened to the others conversation, Marcus realized that he himself didn´t really know what to do. He hoped, someone would announce, what to do next.

"That must have been fun to do." Nate smiled at Elsinare as she walked over, then cocked his head slightly. "You okay? You seem a little annoyed..."

Taurin walked across the grounds as he saw something standing by a wall, a jade green arcane summon shaped like a winged lady, which he recognized as his sister's. It beckoned to him and he followed, leading him into a small and almost empty area, where his sister was standing. She dispersed the summon and smiled at Taurin. "Greetings, little brother. You learned what we already knew?" Taurin nodded. She put her hands on his shoulders and looked down at him. "You're finally safe here. I know you have some trouble, and I don't blame you for it, but you have to let go of what has passed." "I know."

They talked for a while before deciding to split up again. Virginia returned to her room and Taurin started trying to figure out where his own was.

It's just that there's this failed summon sitting in the hallway, and it doesn't look like he's going to move. Worst of all, it has horns, so unless someone banishes it, I'm stuck waiting until the teachers-" She stopped abruptly. "Never mind. It's the first day, so stuff like this happens. Anyway, does that gun have any special features?"

As much as Nate would like to hear more about the gun, the failed summon had peaked his interest. "Wait, what kind of summon? I mean, what does it look like?"

"Not much. A toad with horns." she shrugged. "I guess that failed summoning spells aim to get something that resembles a mundane creature. My brother once accidentally summoned a spider with butterfly wings. That was when I found out he was arachnophobic." Once she'd finished, she turned back to David, still awaiting his answer.

"Huh. Maybe I could...or would that even work? Might as well find out... I'll be back in a minute." Nate plucked Len off his shoulder and indicated for him to go back to the trees, then picked up his backpack and headed into the building, looking for the toad summon.

Reitt walked out, looking over at this guy everyone seemed to be talking to. He felt a little jealous that he was not being talked to in such a friendly way by so many, but decided to do nothing about it.

What makes you so special? What?

He kept his distance, keeping a neutral expression on his face.

"Huh. I wonder if devil-frogs count as animals as far as his abilities go. This is the sort of thing I never thought would come up. Then again, my brother has gotten into some weird situations." Desperately she sought to find something to make small talk about. "Awful lot of European students this year. Makes me wonder if something happened that got people scared."

She looked upward before remembering that she was trying to have a normal conversation. For a moment she considered changing the subject back to the gun, but now she didn't really feel like talking about weapons.

"Nate and I were talking about that," Zavi said. "There was a bit of a cease-fire a few months back wasn't there? Maybe that gave them an opportunity to get their kids out of there. I do hope none of them carry grudges towards each other."

Gretchen stands around nervously with her suitcase, entirely unsure about what she's supposed to do now, hoping for someone, anyone, to help her.

After the "initiation" ended, Kaleb grabbed his duffel bag and made his way out of the auditorium. On his way, someone brushed past him and knocked him off balance, causing him to fall into a young woman who seemed to be standing with a suitcase.

"Oof!"

He dropped his duffel bag and caught the girl, half trying to steady himself, and half to keep her from falling as well. When he regained his balance, he suddenly realized that he was grasping a very well-made dress of the finest fabric. He quickly let go and glanced up into the... Oh shit... girls' green eyes. He wracked his brain, trying to remember who she was.

Gretchen...Necromancy...

Kaleb took a step back, wiping his sweaty palms on his pants. "I...uh...I'm sorry. I was pushed." As he picked up his duffel bag, he said, "I hope I didn't hurt you. And...uh, I didn't mean to grab your dress."

"It...looks nice."

He blanched slightly, Really, Kale? REALLY?! This is the girl takes a faceplant off the stage and the most you can say is "Your dress looks nice?!"

"My name's Kaleb..."

Nice recovery, he thought sarcastically.

"Cease-fire? Huh." Once again she cast a nervous glance at the sky. "I never trust those. Last time there was one before I left, someone proved their goodwill by giving everyone in our area some free shrapnel."

She lifted her arm, showing a scar that reached only a short distance, but looked like it must have been caused by a deep wound. "And some reminders."

Awkward~~ Zavi thought with both a mental and physical wince.

"Uh, sorry. Didn't mean to bring up bad memories."

Gretchen made a small squeak as Kaleb bumped into her. After he catches her, and apologizes, she says to him quietly "I-it's ok, and thank you..." She looks at her feet, and nervously bites her lower lip.

Sammy looked around the room and caught sight of Gretchen, the girl who helped her up. She ran over to her, feeling relieved that there was one familiar face.

Gretchen looks up when she hears Sammy coming towards her, and smiles shyly upon seeing who she is, and she quickly averts her eyes slightly, and blushes, "H-hi...

Leaving his seat, Alexander decides to say hello to the nice lady he helped get back up on her feet. Walking over to Gretchen, he waved to her, smiling, and grabbed her hand, shaking it:

"Hello, I'm Alexander! Yes, yes, that's me!"

Sammy smiled back at Gretchen and turned to Alexander. "Hey there. So, what magical powers do you possess?" Sammy waved her fingers about in a joking manner.

Gretchen collapses her chest, and brings her hands to her face, tilting her head downwards, and bending her knees slightly, freaked out by all of the attention she was getting, "H-h-hi..." she whimpers. To Sammy, she says, "N-n-necromancy."
