Magic Academy RP

Ah, the first day of school for Magic Academy students. The first day is not one of school-work. Instead, it is one of re-adjusting to the school and finding your room in the apartment tower. There are many students, but for now, we only focus on a few.

Elisare had stopped not long after entering the grounds and was seen leaning against a wall, reading a note while holding an opened envelope in her hand. Once she was done reading she sighed and just waited, obviously a little annoyed. "I can't leave him alone for a minute."]]

Taurin slowly walked into the area, taking in the large buildings and observing the people walking past, magic runes being cast and odd events spontaneously occurring. He could get used to it, as his sister already had. She had agreed to find him later, but he had entered alone. He stood there watching everything happen and thought about what potentially could happen.

Alexander was quite surprised on his first day at the academy. It was really big compared to the places he had visited in the past. Plus, the fact that he was only fifteen made him feel even more tiny. Even so, he managed to always have a smile on his face, waving and saying hello to everyone that walked past him, even if they didn't care one bit about what he was doing:

"Hello! Good morning! Hi!"

And he didn't care that people gave him weird looks after he screamed?

"So exciting! First day is always the best day!"

"I like your enthusiasm, my friend." The redhead flashed Alexander a smile, moving so he was walking beside him. "Brendan Burke. And you are?"

"Alexander! Alexander Solano!"

He took a moment to think:

"No, I don't know what Solano means..."

Alex proceeded to shake Brendan's hand as hard as he could:

"So great to meet someone new! Yes, yes!"

At the front of the school, six men escorted a younger man into the school premises. One of them said, "If you ever need anything, Young Master Reitt..."

He responded, "I know. I can always call you guys."

They left, and so he started to look through the place, walking at a brisk pace, yet not too fast.

As he walked, Reitt overheard the screaming and the enthusiasm, and rolled his eyes a little. Some people got really excited and enthusiastic. Well, best to go introduce himself and see what kind of classmates he would have in the coming years. This school did seem very interesting indeed, a place for him away from all that stupid familial drama.

He started to walk over to the two guys, and said to Alexander, "That's quite a voice you have on you."

He did not really know which of them it was who issued that scream, but figured it had to be one of them.

"Is that a compliment, sir?"

He smiled deviously, deciding to play the gadfly a little, "...Maybe. Or maybe I am reminded of Marx Soul?"

Regardless, he only meant it as a tease.

One line, two line, diagonal connect and...uh...

Shoot, he couldn't even remember Contact. Quickly Nate dropped his wand and rifled through his bag for his rune book. Yanking it out he skimmed through a few pages before finding the correct diagram. Of course! "Circle and wave!" He painted them both on his left hand. The spell took effect immediately, and soon he was petting a squirrel who'd been drawn in by the spell, another one behind it watching curiously. Nate let out a grin as he sat properly on the ground. "I've missed you guys."

"Pleasure to meet you," Brendan replied with a smile. "And you are?"

Elisare looked around. She caught sight of someone clearly younger than her with an eyepatch, and stared at him for a moment. She made a note to try to chat him up when she got the chance, but until then she walked over to the person who was talking to squirrels. "You're Nate, right? I'm terrible at remembering names, and I'm not even sure if we've been introduced."

Alexander was still trying to figure out what Reitt meant by Marx Soul:

"Uhm... Hm... No, can't be that."

Suddenly, a voice boomed across the area between the buildings.

"ALL FIRST YEAR STUDENTS, PLEASE REPORT TO THE PRINCIPAL."

"Oh, that's me! Or maybe us... I don't know..."

Alexander ran ahead, his smile never leaving his face.

Nate looked up at the girl and opened his mouth to answer, but the loud summoning cut him off. When it had died down he quickly soothed the remaining squirrel before it chased its companion into the woods. "Yep, Nate, that's me. I think I've seen you around...Ellie? No, uh..." Names were nearly as hard to remember as runes. "...Elisare, that's it. Hi!"

Brendan blinked in surprise and ran after the boy until he was keeping pace. "You don't run out of energy, do you?" He laughed. "Let me escort you down. It's easy to get lost here."

"Nice to see a familiar face." she said. "That's right, we did meet once or twice. How have things been during your break?" Her grip on the envelope tightened as she spoke.

"Oh, thank you, sir."

Alexander gave Brendan a respectful bow, and after that, let out a small laugh:

"Mom always told me to respect other people. Treat them as they want them to treat you."

"A valuable lesson," the redhead replied. "Not everyone shares it, however. Keep an eye out for those people." An innocent little kid like that, Brendan worried about him already.

Nate's smile faltered briefly. "Oh, it was...uneventful. How about you? Anything fun?" He nodded towards the letter, grinning again. "Careful, you might crumple that."

Alexander nodded:

"My Mom gave me a lot of valuable lessons. One of them is that everyone can change. So, I'll keep an eye out for those people, but who knows, they might actually become my friends!"

Brendan laughed.

"Well, I'd like to think you've made a friend already."

The voice boomed out again.

"OH, I ALMOST FORGOT, FIRST YEARS STUDENTS SHOULD MEET IN THE AUDITORIUM."

"Really?! That's great! More than great! Now... where is this auditorium?"
